A/N: This is going to be a kinda slow introducing/explaining chapter, im sorry but it will get better. I pinky promise and you can;t break pinky promises.
The first day of winter brought more snow than South Korea had seen in a long time. Outside was a winter wonderland. Jae thought that her day was going to be spent inside with hot chocolate, cuddled under some blankets and her favorite thing on her t.v screen; anime. She had wrapped herself completely in her blankets and was just about to push play on "Free! Iwatobi swim club" when the door of her room was thrown open. Jae jumped, spilling some of her drink on her blankets with an unhappy groan. A few seconds later Jae's best friend (and roommate) Aerri walk--no more like bounced in.
Aerri was everything Jae wanted to be. She was short, funny and sweet, She was adorable and had Aeygo for days, but then was also really sassy, loud and obnoxious when she wanted to be. They had met at a school choir concert when they were ten and since then they had been best friends. Aerri was very optimistic and always saw the good in people. She was the one person who was always there for Jae when she needed someone.
Aerri looked at Jae with big round eyes full of excitement and innocence. Jae rolled her eyes ignoring her and cleaning up the little mess she had accidentally made.
"Jae-ah?"
"What Aerri?" Jae asked dropping formalities with the younger girl.
"Ai-soon and I are going to the coffee shop, want to come?"
Jae was going to say no, but made the mistake of looking up and falling into Aerri's aeygo act.
"Uh u-um sure, l-let me just get dressed."
"Okay! We need to get dressed too. Meet you in the living room in five!" With that Aerri bounced out of the room, closing the door behind her.
Great. I get to hangout with the Aierri couple. Jae thought sarcastically. Don't get her wrong, she loves the two girls. The only problem was they had been friends since birth and once they became trainees for SM Entertainment people started to "ship" them together. Truthfully she did too even though neither of them were in a relationship and both were straight. More like a hoemance which is a girl version of a bromance.
Jae got dressed slowly (until Aerri started banging on her door saying to hurry up). After changing out of her warm pajamas into jeans, a tee -shirt and a hoodie, she put on her boots and walked to the living room where she met Aerri and Ai-soon.
Ai-soon was a medium height girl. She was taller than Aerri even though she was younger. She had a very pretty smile and was really funny around her friends, but she could also be the most serious person to be around. At first Jae hated Ai-soon because she thought she would take Aerri away but after a big fight between the two Aerri forced them to be friends and at least try not to hate each other.
"Hi,Eonni!" Ai-soon spoke with a smile.
"Hello Ai-soon."
Without anymore exchanged words the three girls headed out to their favorite cafe not far from where they lived. The cafe was also in walking distance from SM Entertainment where they had to go every day of the week except weekends. Each girl had been there for two years and had yet to be put in a group. Each girl worked hard and was very well known to other trainees and even some idols. Jae and Ai-soon were very shy and stayed close together at all times while Aerri talked to everyone and anyone. Aerri was the flirty member so she had quite a bit of admirers in SM but Jae and Ai-Soon were mysterious and quiet which gained them many admirers also. The three also became known with fans when they were seen hanging out with different idol groups.
As the girls approached the cafe they saw a huge crowd of girls screaming and fangirling about someone inside. The girls groaned and Ai-soon and Jae started to walk away until Aerri stubbornly dcide to try pushing through the group.
"Aerri! You're going to get hurt, don't you dare do it!
"I want my bubble tea, though!" Aerri whined to Jae,still pushing through the group of fangirls.
"Oh my god! It's the SM trainees, Aerri, Jae and Ai-Soon!!" A fan suddenly screamed.
Within seconds the three girls were swarmed with fans pulling at their clothes and hair, trying desperately to touch someone who would one day be an idol. The three pushed their way to the front of the cafe and a big security guard opened the door for them and protecting them from fangirls. Jae fell to her knees inside the cafe with Ai-Soon next to her.Aerri was still standing but leaning on the wall nearby.
"Never do something like that ever again Mae Aerri! We could have been killed- or worse, our clothes could have ripped!" Ai-soon scolded while pacing.
Aerri and Jae looked at each other smirking and at the same time quoted their favorite English movie, Harry Potter.
"She needs sort out her priorities!"
Ai-Soon groaned, annoyed as Aerri bounced over to the cashier giggling, and ordered her favorite drink, bubble tea.
"Tsk, tsk Aerri. You just got mobbed by fans and all you can think about is bubble tea." A voice said from a table of boys who had watch the exchange between the girls.
Aerri turned around and was met by the eyes of one of her idol friends, Byun Baekhyun from EXO. He was at the very far end of a table filled with the other eleven members of the group.
Aerri smirked, rolling her eyes "Tsk, tsk Baekhyun. You have not seen me in months and you don't even say hi? I guess fame did change you."
"YA! Why are you like this to me?"
Aerri laughed walking over and hugged him when he stood up. Jae watched from the other table and immediately knew this meeting was going to start a lot of drama, especially when her eyes met with the cold ones of another member.
