I woke up on Sunday morning,ready to go home. Saturday was significantly better than Friday,but there were still some odd events. I guess that was just our friend group. I was the last person to be dropped off besides Hyde,Eric,and Donna. I gave Steven a kiss,then went home. I told Eric to say hi to Kitty for me. When I came home,my mom was out with Nancy and Michelle. I scoffed when I read her note,she's always out wine tasting with those women. I pudded around for awhile,trying to do my homework for English,cleaning my room. I really just wanted to see Hyde again. I know I saw him almost an hour ago,but I can't get him out of my head. I took a shower,then had dinner and then went to bed.

I was listening to "Night Moves" by Bob Seeger as I drove to school. Not my usual scene,but the song was good. When I pulled up I saw Michael kissing Pam Macy. I shook my head,then parked. I went up to him,"Michael fucking Kelso. Get back to Jackie before I tell her." He whimpered before walking away with me. When we got back to the group I pulled Donna aside and told her about Michael. "Oh my god! That dog!" She exclaimed. "If he does it again i'm gonna kick his ass." "Me too!" We walked together,since Jackie wasn't here today, and we didn't want to talk to the guy's. The day was pretty fun. In Science Steven and I had a paper ball fight. We got sent to the office for being disruptive in Geography for making fun of people and laughing. When the principal saw it was Steven,he wasn't surprised. "Katherine Cooper,don't believe i've ever had you in my office." "No,Sir,this a first for me." "Well,Katherine,i'm gonna assume you were just goofing off,and give you just a warning. But,as for you,Steven,detention." "Detention! What?" "Yes,Steven,detention. You've been in here too many times,maybe this will teach you to mess around in class." He scoffed,then we left the office. "I'll pick you up,how long do you think you'll be in school jail?" "An hour. Go to the hub or something,just please don't be late." "I won't. I'll see you in Math. Bye." "Bye Kath." We parted ways and I went to French. It was boring as usual,but I got an 'A' on the test! After study hall I was so tired. I decided to skip Math,and just went home. I planned on waiting for Hyde anyway. When it was time to pick him up,I hurried to school. He was waiting in the front of the building when I got there. "Where were in Math?" "I ditched. Didn't feel like doing anything." "Atta' girl!" He grinned. I smiled back,then dropped him off at Eric's. "You're not gonna come hang?" "Nope. I don't want to be around Kelso." "You want me to hang out with you?" "You sure you want to ditch your friends for me?" "Of course." "Alright." I grinned. We hung out at my place for a bit. "Well,i'll drop you off. My mom is coming home soon. No boys!" I mocked her tone,pointing my finger sternly at him. He chuckled,and we went to Eric's house.

Two Weeks later

I came up to the Foreman's house,opening the sliding glass door. "Hi Katherine." Kitty greeted warmly. "Hi Kitty. Whatcha' makin? Smells great." I smiled. "Cupcakes for the church youth group." She grinned proudly. "You are such a nice woman. I wish you were my mother." "You are too sweet." She smiled at me before I went downstairs. I sat in Hyde's lap in the circle,glaring at Kelso. "What? What did I do?" Kelso yelled. "You're a dirty dog! You fuck anything with two legs and a vagina!" I screamed at him. He scoffed,"Hyde,you need to calm your chick down!" "Fuck you Michael. Fuck you. I'm telling Jackie if you do it again." "Serious, Kath,calm down." "Fuck you too!" I glared at Steven. "All i'm saying is,you care too much about Jackie." "Well,Jackie is MY friend." "Oh god,why?" Eric laughed. I punched him in the arm. I was pissed,so I stormed upstairs. I sat in the kitchen table and ate a cupcake that Kitty handed me. "What's wrong Katherine?" "Michael is cheating on Jackie,and everyone thinks i'm crazy for being mad at him." I sighed. "Well,I think it's good you're concerned about Jackie." After I ate my cupcake and threw away the paper,I thanked Kitty for it. I went back downstairs,and sat back in Steven's lap. "Don't touch me." I demanded harshly when he reached to encircle my waist. He held his hands up in surrender. Donna came into the basement,sitting on Eric's lap. "What's wrong with Kath?" She asked. "Come with me." I grabbed her hand and led her to the bottom of the steps,outside the door. "Michael is cheating on Jackie,and everyone thinks i'm crazy for being mad at him." Donna scoffed,"Those bastards!" She flung the door open,"You're all bastards! Everyone of you! Jackie loves you and you're cheating on her!" We both walked over to her house. I layed on her bed,on my stomach and knees. "So how do you think this has been going on?" "Few months now..." "He's such a bastard."

One Month Later

Jackie broke up with Michael,and Michael's dating Laurie now. I told Hyde I love him,and to my surprise,he said it back. He's really a good guy when he's with me,he seems happy. At least,I hope he's happy with me. Donna and Eric had sex,and their parents had a cow when they found out. Life has been so complex lately,but still happy and fun with my friends as usual. I sat on Hyde's lap in the circle,and Jackie had taken Kelso's spot. I was getting really sick of her lately,she was getting a little too close to Steven. I don't really care because I know Steven kind of hates her,and he wouldn't cheat on me. Jackie was laughing her ass off,and Eric was talking about Donna. I had to go home for family dinner,so I kissed Steven's cheek,then strided off to my car. Life was good in the circle.
