Chapter 26. After Effects.

Emma's POV

"So you're the only one who knows I'm here right?," I asked Liam once again.

"Yes Emma. Don't worry, you'll surprise them," Liam assured me as we walked towards the elevator.

Liam had left the party to come to the enterance to get me as I didn't have an invitation. As we approched the elevator, we saw a few men in maintainance uniforms waiting outside the elevator.

"What's going on?," Liam asked one of the men.

"The elevator broke down but it's fixed now. It's coming down," he answered just as the elevator dinged, signaling its arrival.

The metal doors slid open and the sight in front of me caused my stomach to drop.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!," I heard Liam say from beside me.

My heart plummeted to the pit of my stomach. I stared ahead in complete shock, unable to speak or move.

My so called boyfriend had his lips latched onto another girl, his shirt buttons undone, his hair messy and face flushed. Normally I'd find him looking sexier than ever, but this wasn't normally.

He stared back at me in complete shock. Obviously surprised to see me. The girl turned around too and as soon as I saw her, I felt like I was about to throw up.

The girl was wearing an awfully familiar red dress along with a black feathery mask.

My dress and mask.

It was none other than Emily. Emily my best friend. Emily who was 'happy' for me and Harry. Emily, who was practically my sister. Emily, the girl I hated.

"E-emma?," Harry stuttered, looking bewildered.

Yes, you bastard I caught you shagging my best friend.

Before I could process what was happening, Liam lunged toward Harry, grabbing him by the collar and slamming him against the wall.

Both Emily and I let out a scream.

"You fucking bastard! HOW DARE YOU! I KNEW I NEVER SHOULD HAVE LET YOU DATE MY SISTER," Liam spat.

"Lia-"

"SHUT UP!," Liam yelled before throwing a wild punch at Harry.

Harry retaliated by shoving Liam and punching his stomach. Liam yelped in pain before grabbing Harry and pulling him into a headlock.

"LET ME FUCKING GO LIAM!," Harry yelled, struggling to get out of his tight grip.

Harry some how escaped Liam's deathly grip, pushing Liam to the ground. Liam yanked Harry down causing him to lose his balance and fall before Liam got on top of him and began punching him.

"Stop them! Somebody stop them!," Emily screeched hysterically to the people around as I stood there in shock.

A few of the maintainace men rushed forward to break them apart but they were adament and wouldn't let go.
