Chapter 1

Hey guys, so it's no secret that I am a huge Sherlock/Cumberbatch fan and I've been writing this for a good few months. I wasn't going to upload it anywhere, it was literally my fantasy world (lol at me) for my eyes only but then I came across some Cumberbatch fan fictions and thought 'screw it' so here we are! It's not very good, it's fast paced and very unrealistic but aren't all fan fictions?

Disclaimer; I don't own Benedict, he owns himself and that's the same for any other big name I have in here (Martin Freeman, Stephen Moffat etc etc); I do, however own Swey because she's me and everyone else are my friends just with their names changed (:

Enjoy!

About Me:

I guess a good place to start would be my name…which is Swey.

I’m an avid writer and am completely obsessed with ‘Sherlock’, BBC’s take on the adventures of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson.

I’m going to leave it there for now; any questions, ask away.

First Date:

As long as it involves bowling, I really don’t mind.

“You signed up to a dating site?” My best friend, Pippa, snorted as she perched herself on my lap and peered at the screen of my laptop “Swey, do you have any idea how many perverts are floating around on these things?”

“I’m not just going to hook up with the first guy who seems interesting” I frowned at her “people talk you know.”

“Yeah” she scoffed “they also lie.”

I pushed Pippa off my lap and moved my chair closer to the desk. “Well, you would know a few things about lying wouldn’t you?” I muttered as I scanned my list of matches.

Like most normal people, I really had no idea what I was looking for; I didn’t actually think that I would find someone on here but it’s easier that strolling down the street and talking to the first person who looks interesting. Online, you can view pictures, read profiles and chat behind the safety of your computer screen without tripping over what you want to say; of course, Pip is right, there are going to be perverts but it’s not hard to tell who’s being genuine and who’s not.

I clicked back on to my profile and scrolled down to my pictures; I had four pictures, all recent and all suitable. No unnecessary skin was showing, no stupid pout was on my face and I wasn’t smothered in makeup. “You have a new message” Pippa pointed out as she finally got herself up off the floor and bent over to read the message as I clicked on it.
