Run to the forest

Chapter 1

Waking up for school is never fun. It's as simple as that and to top everything off it was monday...yay.. I go to school at Duncaster High, I guess you can call it a big school maybe even preppy but as for smart, you can forget that. "Arizona the bus will be here any minute." Dad shouted up the stairs. "I know dad i'll be right there." I bellowed back to him. I bounded down the stairs just in time for the bus to arrive at my front door. I grabbed my bag, kissed my dad and I was out the door. The bus ride is always "fun". On my bus is almost every immature boy in my grade, always creating a new problem each and everyday. That day turned out to be a gum eating contest such as, them taking chewed up pieces of gum off the bottom of the seats and eating it. Now you know what I mean by "fun". Once the bus finally pulled up to the school we unloaded. I got to my locker and was putting in my combo but i was abruptly stopped by two clammy hands covering my eyes. I already knew who it was, I could already picture her blonde hair parted in the middle, blue eyes and huge smile. "Guess who" she said. "Hmmm" I played along "Ally!" i finally "guessed" I peeled her hands back and saw my best friend standing before me. "We still on for the mall tonight?" she asked. "You bet" First bell rang and we headed off to english.

Mrs. Walsh paced the classroom while kids filled the seats, ready for english. "So as you all know, today we're doing presentations." The whole class sighed. Guess who was first. You guessed it, Me. "Arizona you're up" I slowly walked up to the front of the classroom making my presentation on what i would do if i were a super villain wanting to take over the world. I know, the most stupid topic. Not my choice. "H-h-ello" I stuttered. "I'm Arizona Williams and if I were a S-s-super villain my plan to take over the world would be to mind control everyone and have them do everything on my command." I finished, I know it was short but that's how Mrs. Welsh wanted it, i don't understand why we had to "present" it but i got an A so it's ok. As i sat down Kylie Knight stared me down with a wicked look in her deep green eyes. Kylie is kind of popular, She has long black hair parted to the side and a wicked smile. I ignored the eye contact and continued to watch the other's presentations, then it was Kylie's turn. "Hey my name is Kylie Knight and if I were a super Villain i would take over the world by making a group of girls and destroy town by town until I am satisfied." she stated. "Wow Miss. Knight that's uh...very imaginative thank you.." Mrs. Welsh' face looked a bit taken back by Kylie's presentation but she brushed it off and called up the next student.

Finally the lunch bell rang and everyone herded down the stairs in a huge cluster just like usual. Getting lunch sucks because people think cutting the line is okay and it takes ages to get my food and have time to find a seat and eat. I got my chicken sandwich and found a seat saved by Ally. "How did presentations go?" pondered ally. "Ew" i said. "That bad huh?" she laughed. "Don't even get me started." Then the strangest thing happened. Kylie sat down in the seat next to me. She looked at me and smiled, I mean i smiled back but I was confused as to why she decided to sit with us and not her friends. That is when she spoke. "Hey girls, Arizona I liked your presentation." she snarled. "T-t-thank you?" i got out confused. "I have a serious question for the both of you." she whispered. Ally looked up from her cheese pizza. "Yes?" "Ok so Arizona do you remember my presentation from early today in english?" she said already knowing the answer. "Uh yeah why?" Now i was completely lost. "Okay well it's real i actually have a machine to blow up towns." she looked at us smiling atrously. Obviously Ally and I laughed really hard, which seemed to upset Kylie a bit. "Guys I am not joking I'm trying to gather people i think would be perfect for my group of people to dominate the world." she disclaimed. "Kylie you're hilarious." Ally said almost in tears from laughing so hard. "Don't believe me? Fine meet me at my house tonight at 6:45pm." she grinned. "Uh..." i said "Just be there I have a few others coming too you won't be the only ones so don't worry." she got up and strode away from the table going to sit with her friends. "What the hell was that about?" Ally spoke still laughing. "I don't know but should we fall for it? It's probably a trick." I worried. "What the heck let's go." said Ally.
