i focus my camera on the frame, and take a seat in front of it. "sebs, get your butt over here!" i yell out.
"can't you see i'm busy?" he shouts back.
"ya think i give a flying frick? now come!" i hear the shuffling of feet, then my door slams open, revealing my brother. "i don't wanna do my first video alone." i say in a hush toned, doing my puppy dog face.
"oh, so now you're all sweet and soft?" he sarcastically says. then groans and plops himself next to me. i clap in excitement and turn the camera on.
"hey guys, my name's lola, but ya can call me lolita! and this is my first ever video! to make it special i thought i'd have my brother, sebastian, be in it. so yea, we're gonna do the sibling tag." i say, looking down at my phone to look at the questions.
"how old are both of you?" i read the question aloud. "turning sixteen in a few months!" i say, doing some weird gestures with my arms.
"and i'm eighteen." sebs answers.
"he acts like a ten year old, i swear." i joke.
"liar!" he shouts back, tackling me to the floor.
"ok stop!" i shriek while giggling. "ok ok, next question. where are y'all from?"
"we are both from mazatlan, sinaloa. a city in mexico y'all probably have never heard of." sebs says.
"but it's beachy and pretty and ah i love it." i add in. "too bad we had to move to sacramento."
"pinche gringos." sebs whispers, causing me to die of laughter.
we answer the rest of the questions. laughing and making jokes along the way.
"okay last question, who is the most attractive?"
"obviously me." sebastian answers, flexing his biceps and grinning.
"aha, funny." i say, smiling and blowing a kiss to the camera.
"i can do that too." mimicking me by exaggeratively blowing a kiss.
"comment who's more attractive." i say, winking so badly that i actually managed to somehow poke my eye with an eyelash.
"she can't wink for shit." sebastian says. i playfully roll my eyes, then face the camera.
"okay guys, that's it for today's video. hope you enjoyed it, and see you next week, bye!" i say, then me and sebastian both wave goodbye to the camera.
"gracias brother."
"de nada sis, it was pretty fun. well, i'm gonna go back to playing video games, see ya!" he says. and with that, he's out the door.
i grab my macbook air and transfer the video to the computer, then start editing. in a few minutes, the video was posted.

"hey nash, watcha doing?" i ask, taking a seat next to him.
"online. check out this youtube girl that went trending." he answers, clicking on the video.
two figures come into view. my eyes widen once i get a clearer look of the girl. her straight brown hair flows right below her chest, and she has beautiful big blue eyes. i didn't really pay much attention to her brother.
the way she said her name was so sweet. and her thick accent made me melt. "she has a pretty name." i spill out. nash turns to me and smirks.
"you think she's cute, don't ya?" he asks, wiggling his eyebrows.
"psh, no." i answer, turning my attention back to the screen. "now shh, i'm trying to listen."i watch the rest of the video in silence. and i gotta say, they're pretty funny. her brother made fun of her when she winked, but i found it adorable.
"can i see that?" i ask, pushing nash out of his seat and taking possession of the computer. nash falls to the ground and groans.
"yea, just push me off the chair, thanks!" he yells sarcastically.
"yea yea, you're welcome." i say, clicking on lolita's channel.
"whatever, I'm gonna go get some food." he says, then leaves.
finally, peace and quiet. i check out her channel and to my disappointment, she didn't have any other videos. i notice that the video was barely posted yesterday. and it already had a hundred thousand views. damn, that was quick.
i couldn't help but watch her video on replay. something about her made her seem so special. and that special girl, just gained a new subscriber.
