Why does this have to happen to me!
This thought was repeating in your mind as you meandered down the road. Yes, sadly it was that time of the month again for you. Your dreaded period had arrived, and your lower region felt like a velociraptor was punching through it.
All you wanted to do was crawl back into your comfy bed and die.
I can't! I have to find Sakura and have her take my pain away with her medical talent!
Telling yourself this, you started to move a little faster in hopes of reaching her sooner.
You were so caught up in thinking about how terrible life was, so you didn't notice someone standing in front of you! You tried to stop, but your legs got tangled together and you ended up falling right on top of the person!
"Huh?" You heard the person grunt as you both fell to the ground. You didn't want to open your eyes because you were afraid it might be someone important.
"It's ok (Y/n). It's just me." Said a familiar voice. You opened your eyes quickly to see a masked face in front of you.
"Oh Kakashi-sensi! Sorry about that." You said while trying to hide the fact that you were in a whole lot of pain. But sadly for you, it didn't go unnoticed by Kakashi.
"Hey (Y/n), you ok? You look a little pale." He asked in a curious voice.
"Where's Sakura!! I need her to heal me!" You said very dramatically.
"Here I'll take you to her." Kakashi said with worry in his voice, and picked you up bridal style and started to run to wherever Sakura was. You and Kakashi had always been very close friends. You saw him like a big brother and he saw you like a little sister.
~ Time skip (like 5 minutes)~
After what seemed like an eternity, you arrived at the hospital where Sakura was. Kakashi carried you in and immediately jogged up to Sakura. You looked around and were surprised to find not only Sakura there, but also Naruto, Rock Lee, and...Neji.
Wait a minute, NEJI!!!!!
Your face went bright red as your (E/c) eyes met his lavender ones. You have had a crush on him for about as long as you've known him (about 4 years). You had always been a outgoing and energetic person, but whenever Neji was around, you got really shy and could barely talk.
You turned your attention back to Sakura.
Come on (Y/n) just get medicine or something and then you can leave. You don't need to freak out. Neji is just gonna stand over there and he won't talk to you!
You did your best to calm down when a certain thought popped in your mind.
I CAN'T SAY I'M ON MY PERIOD IN FRONT OF HIM!! I'll just say it without saying it.
You formed a plan in your head and decided to go for it.
"S-Sakura...it h-hurts..." You said clutching your lower half of your tummy. You gave her the best puppy dog eyes you could manage and batted your eyelashes.
She must have caught on! Now as long as she gets it and doesn't say anything embarrassing I'm saf-
"Your period?" She said.
Well there goes the plan to stay safe.
You slowly nodded your head.
No point in hiding it now!
You could feel Kakashi stiffen behind you.
"P-P-PERIOD?!?" He yelled at the top of his lungs. He pulled his arms back to his sides, dropping you to the floor in the process. Everyone's eyes went wide and they all stopped breathing. Slowly you stood up.
"(Y-Y/n)??" Kakashi hesitantly asked.
"I'LL KILL YOU KAKASHI-SENSI!!" You yelled chasing him out of the hospital.
Neji smirked from his corner of the room and walked up to a shocked Sakura.
"Sakura, I'll take all the medicine for periods that you have."
~Time skip (like 10 minutes)~
You were laying on the grass painting. Kakashi was knocked out on the other side of the small field you were on. Thankfully for you, he let you beat him up and didn't fight back.
As you got up, you heard a soft chuckle from behind you. Turning around, you found yourself face to face with Neji. Blushing, you looked away and took a step back.
"Allow me to walk you home." He said in a stern but kind voice.
"Thanks, but I have to go find Sakura and get medicine." You replied internally freaking out.
"Don't worry. I already have that taken care of." Neji replied with a small smirk.
"Wha-" You felt the ground beneath you disappear. Your eyes were shut in fear.
"Don't worry (Y/n), I promise I won't drop you." Neji's voice whispered in your ear. You could feel his warm breath against your cheek. Slowly, you peeled your eyes open. You saw Neji's face almost touching yours. Your face became as red as a tomato, but you couldn't turn away. It wasn't until Neji straightened up that you were able to see what kind of situation you were in. His strong arms were wrapped around you carrying you bridal style. He started walking towards your house in long, quick strides.
When you finally arrived, Neji pulled the key to your front door out of your pocket and pushed it in the lock.
"Neji it's ok, I can walk to my room from here." You said worriedly. You were afraid that he would hate the inside of your house for some reason.
"No." Was all he said. You looked up to see the emotion on his face, but he just had a blank expression. He pushed the door open, walked in, and shut it behind him.
You gasped as you saw the sene in front of you. The lights were dimmed and a few candles were lit here and there. Your couch had a your super soft blanket and favorite pillow on it. On the coffe table that was in front of the couch, there were two cups of tea.
"Neji, why are there two cups of tea?" You asked curiously.
"W-Well I was hoping you would allow me to stay with you." He said while blushing and looking away.
"Of course you can stay! I just have two questions." You said trying to make sense of the situation.
"Go ahead." He said while setting you down.
"First of all, did you do all of this?" You asked.
"Yes I did." He replied quickly.
"And secondly, why did you do all of this?" You said while raising an eyebrow. (A/N- sorry of you can't, just pretend you can.)
"W-Well, you see...I actually have...well you see..." He sighed, closing his eyes. The suspense was killing you, but you waited patiently. When he opened them back up, there was a new look of determination.
"I like you, I mean...A LOT. And I just wanted to make you happy and comfortable. I get it if you don't feel the same." He said while blushing and looking you right in the eyes.
"Neji, I really like you too!" You said excitedly. Before you knew it, his arms were wrapped around you in a tight hug. You both pulled away just enough to look in each other's eyes. You felt yourself being pulled in and brought your lips closer to his. He must have got the message because he closed the gap between you. Your lips met his softly. It was a sweet, passionate kiss. You both pulled away in need of air.
"Well, don't want the tea to get cold now so we?" Neji said with a small smile on his lips.
You both let go of each other and made your way over to the couch so you could watch a movie.
"Oh right! I almost forgot!" Neji said as he ran into your kitchen. When he returned, he had a HUGE pile of medicine in his arms.
"H-Here, it's for your..." He coughed awkwardly.
"Thanks Neji!" You said, letting him off the hook.
You and him cuddled and watched movies for the rest of the night. And it wasn't until after the 3rd or 4th movie had finished, a thought popped into your head.
"Hey Neji?" You asked hesitantly.
"What is it little one?" He asked in a kind voice.
You blushed before saying,
"In order for you to have done all of this, you had to be in my house..." You said, turning your head to see his eyes go wide.
"Did you break in?" You asked while giggling.
"M-Maybe." Was all he said.
You sighed and started the next movie.
"I love you (Y/n)." Neji said.
"I love you too Neji." You replied, snuggling closer to him.
