Chapter 23

(Time Skip)

Mark woke up because the doctor came in to check on jack. She checked some wires and papers.

"If you need me to I can wake up Jack" Mark said

The doctor just said it's fine and left. The room was very dark cause all the lights were out.

Mark's Pov

After the doctor left, I got up and stretch out. I saw Jack and he was still sleeping. I smiled at him and grabbed a bag that I brought to the hospital. It had books, coloring books (For Jack), and crayons. I grabbed a book and began to read.

After twenty minutes went by, I became bored of the book and set it down. I went to Jack and sat next to him.

"I love you Jack" Jack blushed in his sleep

"Your so cute when you blush" Jack blushed more and started to wake up.

"Morning Jack" Jack yawned

"Good morning" I smiled at how Jack was being so cute. Jack sat up and looked at me with a serious face.

"M-mark there is something I have to tell you."

"Yes Jack?"

"Well I have been thinking about this for a while and I already have plans to do it today" tears began to form in his eyes

"What is it jack you can tell me anything"

"W-well please don't get mad at me but, I-I...I wanna get rid of my ears and tail. I-I wanna be full human"

I froze and looked at Jack for a few seconds until I spoke

"Are you sure you wanna do this, I mean your ears and tail are special."

"I'm positive, I talked to the doctor and they said they would do the surgery at twelve"

It was currently 11:30. So Jack had thirty more minutes until the surgery.

"Ok I'm just gonna miss your little fuzzy ears" I began to cry a little

Jack hugged me and purred in my back. "I know Marky, I will be ok I promise"

Jack pulled away and wiped away my tears. I smiled at him.

"Oh I just remembered I got you some coloring Books for you"

"Really thank you I love to draw" I got the crayons and one coloring book with animals on it for jack.

Jack drew for about twenty five minutes. He was done with coloring one page and he showed it to me.

"Hey the cat looks like you"

"Thank you"

Jack had drawed a cat with grey ears and tail, The top part was green like Jack's hair, and he had a red shirt and blue pants, He had Blue eyes and in the corner Jack put his name on it.

"Mark I want you to keep it to remember my cat side"

I got teary again "Ok J-Jack I will always remember your soft furry ears and your tail"

Jack wiped away my tears and smiled at me. I smiled back

I put it in my bag and kissed Jack's forehead and he smiled

The doctor came in and told Jack they were ready for him.

"Jack...I love you be safe"

"I will I promise"

They took Jack into a surgery room and I was assigned to the waiting room again.

(Time skip)

After two hours have passed, They called me over again.

"The surgery was a success and Jack has a full human body now. He is asleep do you wanna see him?"

"Yes please"

We walked to Jack's room and the doctor left us alone. I opened the door and found Jack with no ears and no tail sleeping in the bed. I walked next to Jack and looked at him.

He looked beautiful as a full human. He had human ears and he looked cute with them. I put my fingers through his hair and he purred. Well at least he can still purr like a kitten.

Jack eyes were fluttering open. He woke up and looked at me

"Hey Mark"

"Hey Jack how does your body feel ?"

"Weird I don't have fur and no tail. But I feel good"

"Good. the doctor said we can go home now if you are ok."

"I'm fine lets go home." Jack got out bed and got some clothes on. Mark took Jack's hand and they both walked home hand in hand.
