Havoc : Chapter Four : Unexpected Throwback

Max sheepishly grinned at the man before us and then nudged me,silently telling me to stop being rude. I inhaled deeply and calmed myself down.

"Dario, this is Adelaide. She was spotted around the borders, she can't remember why she's here. My guess is she was travelling and got lost,Amnesia might have allot to play too."

First name basis huh? They're close...best friends seeing as Dario didn't react in a negative way to it. That's great, makes it easier.

Dario's stormy gray eyes traveled up and down my body, it was quite uncomfortable because I felt like my skin was burning everywhere he looked, I looked down.

"I hate this.",my wolf mumbled to me in my head.

"Shut up and deal with it, vengeance remember.",I reminded her inwardly she sighed and decided to relax a bit, as she was a little tense.

I can't wait to kill out this pack to be honest, their stares sort of irk me out, but they aren't as ruthless and mean as people say really. Max's hand went around my waist and he pulled me into him protectively, okay this whole 'getting him to imprint on me' thing would be very easy, him and his wolf are already beginning to get attached.

Dario's gray eyes met mine, it darkened as it traveled to Max's hand around my waist. I could hear his wolf growling internally. My wolf's ears perked up, "Damn he is hot.",she said and howled in my mind.

"Athena, relax yourself.",I growled inwardly and she rolled her eyes lying down.

I already had both their wolves ready to imprint on me, good, I could accomplish my goal and have some fun I suppose. Dario's fists tightened as his facial features grew cold and hard.

"Carry her to the clinic then.",he muttered and went back to reading the papers. He clearly didn't like me, oh well the feeling was mutual.

"Get her out, she's riling my wolf.",he growled out as his eyes darkened and I didn't move as I stared right at his wolf, who came out to stare at me, the two sides as one. Mine came out to meet his as well and the images she'd pictured weren't holy ones I'd tell you that.

They seemed to be entrapped in each others' gaze, so I broke it by taking back full control of my human side. The overwhelming feeling I felt was too much it was as if I was in love for a second. Well what I would imagine love to feel like.

"I'm sorry Alpha. She's a bit stubborn. Give her a chance she isn't lying, that's for sure.", Max said bashfully, he slightly glared at me and I looked at my feet, feigning a guilty feeling.

I heard Dario grumble something incoherently, I ignored him, waiting for Max to come out of the office. "Let her stay with Silvia."

"Alpha, I prefer to stay with Max. If that's not a problem with him. I feel much more comfortable with him.", I piped up. If I wanted to get close to Max I'd have to be living with him. I looked at Alpha Dario, daring him to challenge me, in my mind of course I'd holding back all of my power and acted like I was begging him of some sort. Around him started glowing a dark red, then it morphed into a forest green. Feeling as if I were seeing things I blinked my eyes and quickly masked my shock with a nervous stare.

"Why?...Nevermind, fine go on, but Max. Take her to one of the doctors, they might be able to see what's going on with her, physically that is."

Max nodded and grabbed me by the elbow, dragging me out the room. He closed the door lightly and then sighed loudly. I tip toed and kissed him on his left cheek, he turned a light shade of pink and was absolutely flustered by the intimate gesture.
