Play music when I say x
Ayato p.o.v,
1920's

Flashback

I softly shut the window behind me. It was dark, I needed to take a break from the studying that Mother has forced onto me. The best time is to do this at night. Soil felt gentle against my bare feet and wind kissed my cold skin. I quietly tread through the back garden, then climbed over the wall. The forest stretched out from me, sakura petals drifted by the silent air. I ventured into the tangle of beautiful trees. A smell of wood smoke greeted me, I followed the sent. I heard laughing voices and songs being sung. Orange light blazed out, a dancing flame. Dark outlines of people dotted around the heat, along with small gypsie caravans. Small children curled up next to some adults they where watching a moving shadow. So I wasn't spotted, I hid behind the closest tree. I poked my head out so I could watch too. The moving shadow became more and more like a girl. I could see her perfectly now, chestnut Brown hair, creamy skin with breathtaking green eyes. She was graceful and elegant, the prettiest girl ever created. Music played as someone had a stringed instrument. Suddenly, it was cut abruptly by a barks. A gruff dog yapped at my feet and nipped my heels. Everyone froze as I fell onto my back, exposing my hiding place. I cursed the dog. The night sky stared at me along with the people, until a soft voice giggled.
"you can't dance over there, silly"
I slowly sat up. The dancing girl was crouched down next to me. We looked at each other for a few moments.
"Your name sir" she said.
I blinked a few times, then have a smile.
"Ayato"
The dog lepped onto me and licked my face, I choked and laughed. The girl giggled again a pushed the mutt off me. She stood up straight and gestured me towards everyone else. They all gave me a heart warming grins as I joined them by the fire. The music started again and all the girls got up and performed a folk dance. The men, including me, whistled and cheered. Everyone was so kind, so comforting. After hours of happiness and smiles, I had to go. Promising to come back tomorrow night. The girl wanted to walk me back. So she and I set off.
"Miss, I'm sorry I don't know your name" I said glancing in her direction. She looked back at me and smiled.
"Y/n"
I felt a hand wrap around my own. I glanced down to find Y/n had embraced her hand with mine. I squeezed gently, she did the same in return. Sadly, my house came into view and I had to let go. Y/n gave me a small hug. She pulled back and smiled.
"I'll be here tomorrow night, 11.00pm. Meet me here"
I gave a nod and scrambled over the garden wall.

The following night.

I waited until everyone was asleep, it was 10.56. I may be late at this point. Luckily everything went well, and I had gone outside. I slipped over the wall.
"Y/n" I whispered, "Y/n!"
The familiar girl popped her head out from a sakura tree. Her silky hair was dotted with pink blossoms that made her look peaceful. She waved. I walked over. She was wearing a blue dress that hugged onto her curves, it was sticked with mud and grass stains. Y/n pulled me into a embrace. I smelt Wood smoke mixed with flowers. I broke it off and help her hand.
"Lets go"
We shared a smile. Then we walked slowly through the trees towards her camp. The caravans where there and so was everyone from yesterday.
"Ayato, son! You made it!" one of the guys cheered. His name was Patrick, a strong willed man full of exciting tales. I laughed.
"I keep my promises!"

The night started off from there. Dancing, music, jokes, food. Y/n pick up a guitar and pulled me away halfway through saying she wanted to show me something.

She took me to a lake, the one I knew to well. I flinched. Y/n picked up on this.
"I've got somewhere else I know you'll love" she grabbed my hand and dragged me towards a field of flowers. She let go of me and ran through the long grass. I laughed and followed.
Right in the middle there was a hill, a small yet noticeable hill. She climbed on top and fell on her back so she was facing the stars. It was a clear night, with all the stars in view. I laid down next to her. Instead of looking at the sky, I looked at her.
"its pretty" she whispered.
"Not as pretty as you" I replied
She laughed and turned to face me.
"Flirty-sama"
"Sakura-chan"
We both chuckled. She picked up the glossy guitar and sat up right. Y/n then played a few chords. The melody was sweet and sad. So.. So... Calming.
She looked back up at the stars. A golden star shimmered across the night.
"Make a wish" I said.
Y/n shut her eyes.
"I wish this night would last forever"
She re-opened her green eyes. Her eyes trailed back to the instrument. A few more chords she played. Those chords turned into a melody. The melody turned into a song.

Wise men say
Only fools rush in
But I can't help falling in love with you
Shall I stay?
Would it be a sin
If I can't help falling in love with you?

Like a river flows
Surely to the sea
Darling, so it goes
Some things are meant to be
Take my hand,
Take my whole life, too
For I can't help falling in love with you

Like a river flows
Surely to the sea
Darling, so it goes
Some things are meant to be
Take my hand,
Take my whole life, too
For I can't help falling in love with you
For I can't help falling in love with you

We got closer towards each other. I felt her hot breath fan across my lips. She got on her knees so she could look down at my face. Her green eyes reflected the sky and I could see myself. A red-headed boy who was about to have his first kiss. Y/n looked tiny bit nervous, it must be hers as well. I leant forward and crashed my lips onto her soft ones. They tasted of cherries and the woods. Our lips moved in sync as we shared an unforgettable event. My arms snaked around her waist and her hands where in my hair. She gently bit into my lower lip asking for permission. She beat me to it, great minds think alike, so I'm told. I let her and the innocent kiss turned into a war. We battled with our tongues and surprisingly, she won. Y/n explored my mouth- even my fangs. She didn't seem to care. Soon we both need air, so we broke away. She wiped away the saliva connecting us. Then we both went a crimson realising what we did.
"So?" she mumbled breaking the silence.
I tilted my head to the side.
"mm?"
She went a deeper red and looked me in the eyes.
"That was my first kiss! How was it!" she yelled. I knew it came out a lot angrier that she intended it to be.
"I could ask you the same thing" I chuckled looking at the sky.
"Wha! That was your first time too!" she exclaimed shocked.
I cradled my hands in my lap. I have to tell her.
"Y/n.. I've got a confession.." I whispered so she could hear me.
"I'm a.. A.. A"
"A vampire?" she finished.
I didn't raise my head just nodded. I heard the ripping of fabric. I looked up to find
Y/n showing her bare neck to me.
"What?" I gasped.
"I wanna be a vampire, I won't be able to live knowing I'll be long dead and you'll have to suffer!" she choked out.
I was baffled at first.
"I'll try"
She smiled. I crept closer to her and grabbed her shoulders. I warned her it may hurt but she said she doesn't care.

She lay limply in my arms. I knew she wasn't dead- sort of.
