*Niall's POV*
I woke up and looked around the hospital room and saw lexi sleeping with her head on the bed and my body there all bandaged up and looking very pale. I watched as lexi woke up and looked down at my body while crying. I just wish i could wake up and tell her that i'm going to be okay. I just wish i could force myself to but i know that i can't. I walked towards lexi and tried to put my hand on her head but i couldn't. I turned around when i heard footsteps walking towards me. A blonde women who looked exactly like lexi walked up to me.
"Who are you?" I asked her. She smiled when she got closer to me. I looked at her confused thinking who the hell she was until it hit me. She was Lexi's Mum. That's why she looked so much like her.
"You're Lexi's Mum." I said. She smiled and nodded and walked over to her and put her hand over her head.
"Niall i can tell how much you love my daughter and i know that you are going to take very good care of her, but that is only going to happen if you wake up." She said. Lexi never told me her mum's name only that she died when she was five due to giving birth to her younger sister who she loves very much and will protect her with her life.
"I"m sorry Ma'am but Lexi never told me you're name. She only said that you died when she was younger." I said shyly. Lexi's mum smiled alittle.
" I know Niall. I've been watching her this whole time." She said. "I've seen how happy she is with you. My name's Karen."
"it's nice to met you Ma'am" I said smiling. She walked up to me, smiled and gave me a hug. I returned it with a shy smile. I never imagined how nice Alexis's mum would be.
"it's nice to finally meet you too Niall. Now i didn't come here just to meet you." She said. " I came here to tell you something and to show you something." She walked towards me and grabbed my hand.
"Where are we going?" I asked Karen. She just looked over at me and smiled but didn't tell me a thing. When we finally stopped i looked that we were in a house that i didn't recognize. I looked over at her and frowned wondering where the hell we were.
"Where are we?" I asked her again. She ignored me and walked forward. I stood still for a moment but then followed her into the living room i'm guessing. She was standing at the fireplace holding something in her hands. When i walked towards her she turned around and showed me the pic. It was me and lexi when we were 16 and had just started dating. She looked at me thoughtfully then turned around and put the picture back down on the top of the fireplace then walked out of the room. I followed behind her and up the stairs to one of the bedrooms. She walked in and gestured for me to follow her. I walked in behind her.
"Ma'am why are we here?"
"I'm here to show you what Alexis's life would be like without you. " Karen said sadly. "Niall, you never wake up and lexi has to go through life on her own. She pulls away from everyone, including her own father. This is what i have to show you so you can make a choice. You can either wake up and be with Lexi or you can let her pull away from everyone after you die and she will be alone for the rest of her life. She doesn't get close to anyone anymore because she really loved you and always will."
I stood still for a minute. So this is what Lexi's life would be like if i don't wake up. She'll pull away from everyone. Her father, her friends and other family. She will never get close to anyone anymore. I can't let that happen to her anymore. I love her to much to do that to her. I love her so much and i don't want her to be alone. She's my best friend, my first love. I can't do that to her or the boys. I looked over at Lexi's Mum.
"What about the boys?" I asked karen. She looked at me sadly. "What?"
"well you're band broke up and lost so many fans after you died." Karen said. "They all grew up and don't talk to each other anymore. They all have their own lives and kids. So did you make a choice?"
I took a deep breath and nodded. "I want to wake up and be with lexi."
Karen smiled like she was proud of me and hugged me. " Okay. Let's go back to the hospital, then all you have to do is step back inside you're body and you'll wake up a few minutes after. " She brought us back to the hospital and looked down at my body and Lexi who was still sleeping. I looked over at karen and she smiled and nodded at me like she was my own mum. I smiled and walked towards my body. When i looked over at karen she was gone. I hope when i wake up that i'll remember what happened so i can tell lexi that i met her mother. I sat down on the bed and lied down eager so see lexi's beautiful smiling face when i wake up.
I felt myself getting tired and my eyes starting to close as the world around me turned black.
I awoke with a start and looked around me and saw lexi in the same spot where i saw her when i was standing with her mum. I put my hand on her's. She jumped up with a start and frantically looked around the room until she turned to look at me and i saw her beautiful blue eyes that were wet with tears in her eyes.
"Niall?"
