Chapter 2

  "Hey, you must be Nikita?".A tall good looking boy, with dark brown hair and big brown eyes was looking down at me."uhm hi," I said struggling to get up."Ow" i felt the hard bump at the back of my head, "I feel so dizzy",I said trying to keep steady and not fall over while I was getting up.

    "You'll be better in a while, Come with me",He said looking around."Wait where are we going?, what's your name? and when I was young I was told not to talk to strangers and-","My name is Hunter and you'll get the answers to all your questions in a while, I promise and pretty soon I won't be a stranger" he said reassuringly. My head hurt too much to talk so I gave up arguing with him.

    As we walked into the woods I could make out a glass palace like building not quite far away."So Henry how do you know my name?" I asked waiting impatiently for an answer."My name is Hunter and your aunt has sent me","My aunt but-","your real Aunt not your foster moms sister".

"What?, I really need to wake up this is turning into a nightmare".Hunter murmured something, but I couldn't hear.

    I couldn't believe my eyes, As we exited the woods in front of me was a beautiful white palace or castle I don't know ,this definitely wasn't Ontario anyway ,it had a golden gate which had writing on it but of a different language which I couldn't read.

    There were trees and flowers surrounding it a smell of fresh summer flowers filled the air. I was going to ask Hunter to pinch me because I thought I was in one of my dreams but he was in a bad mood.

    A woman with a long dress like some princess came out to greet me with a girl and a boy,both looked around my age."Oh my darling Nikita, how long have I waited, My god you look exactly like your mother" the woman said forcing me to hug her.""Yo wait a second woman, who are you? and where am I?" I asked backing away, I was about to run away but Hunter was behind me.

    "Hey there's no reason to be scared come inside and I'll explain everything to you" She said ushering me inside.

   The ceiling of the hall in the palace was higher than my house back in Ontario. I nearly tripped when I saw the huge dining hall with a long dark oak dining table in the centre."Now take a seat and I'll tell you everything you need to know"."

    "First of all I'm your aunt, Eliza you can call me aunt Ellie,I am the queen of Epria,Your mother queen Isabella was the ruler of Epria before me, Unfortunately she died shortly after your 5th birthday. She had told us that when you shall reach your sixteenth birthday you shall be brought back to Epria and be given training.

    I opened my mouth to say something but she interrupted me again. Wait I have more to tell you, Your mother left you in Ontario, in the hands of a foster family as she knew that the royal heir to the throne will be in much danger .

    Now that your old enou--". "Wait you expect me to leave my friends, my foster family, all my memories and my old life behind?, well this is a dream I'm just going to go wake up and everything is going to be back to normal", I said letting hot tears trickle down my face,"Right now Epria needs you, your real family needs you as for your friends you won't have a lack of friends being the princess, Discussions over, Hunter take Miss Drama queen up to her room, Thank you".

    I stormed off, following Hunter as he led me up a set of gold stairs to a room,My room.

    There was a large flat screen TV on a wall near a super king-size bed bigger than my bedroom back in Ontario and a walk-in wardrobe, which I couldn't be bothered going into because I just wanted to wake up and be back with Cecilia, and my old friends in my old school where everything was actually normal.

    I sat down on to the bed and looked at Hunter.

    (He looked so mysterious as if he were hiding a secret, Not as if I care )."Um you need anything?" he asked awkwardly."No I'm fine thanks, just need to be alone for a while".He murmured OK and left.

    I tried desperately to get to sleep.

5 hours later...

    A loud bang woke me up, I sat up then fell back into bed. "If this isn't a dream then what is going on?" I asked myself.

    I got out of bed and went into the bathroom, I really was a mess, my hair was all over the place. I looked in all the cupboards trying to find something that would smooth my hair down.

    As I went into the walk-in-wardrobe, all I saw were dresses of all different colours, and designs and there were heels and pumps of multiple styles.

    I chose a simple black bodycon dress with black pumps that were covered in sequins. ( I wasn't in the mood for wearing stilettoes).

    I crept down the stairs as I heard someone whispering.

    I opened the door of the library to see Hunter and Aunt Eliza.

"Oh Good morning I didn't see you come in, Hunter would you please show her around and tell her what she's forbidden to do and what she is allowed to do, and what her duties are as the new heir.
