grillby's savior

chapter 1

I always heard of monsters under the bed but monsters in the Mountain that was a new one on me. So recently monsters have come to the surface i havent met any of them yet. That will change.

Ashley walked down the sidewalk on a beautiful spring day when she heard men laughing she went to check it out what see saw enraged her. Four men around a little flame monster with buckets of water she know what they were doing was wrong. She jumped infornt of the flame and roundhouse kicked all the men kicking them out she looked back at the flamed monster and kneeled down she watched it crawl back abit "dont worry i wont hurt you" she said picked it up and wraps her coat around it. She awed as it snuggled into her coat for warmth she then walked home when she got to the door she took out her keys and unlocked the door then opened it walking in then closed it "well this is my home little guy" she said putting him on the couch. She watched him look around as he  stayed in the coat "how about some nice hot peach tea would you like some?" she asked he nod slowly then she walked to the kitchen then puts a kettle on the stove to heat the water then she feels a tug at her pants leg she looks down to see the flame monster alittle bit bigger "wow your growing" she said picking him up putting him on the counter then she hears a deep husky ashy voice "thank you for saving me" she looked over to the monster "you speak" she said "yes my name is grillby" grillby said looking at her "hi grillby im ashley nice to meet you" she said "ashley what a beautiful name its nice to meet you as well" grillby said. Ashley blushed looking at him sure she was very chubby no one has never been called beautiful before just then she heard the kettle whistle she makes two cups of tea and gives one to grillby "thank you" he said she blushes alittle more hearing his voice "your welcome" shes said after finishing they're cups of tea she watching him growing more "so what happen to you?" she asked "i was walking to my new bar/home when those human men jumped me and poured water on me" he said she gaps "thats awful! i cant believe people would do that after all you monsters have suffered" she said shaking then she feels a small warmth on her hand and looks to see him patting her hand smiling she smiled back at him "well till you get better you can stay here i have a spare bedroom" she said looking at him "thank you ashley you are very kind" grillby said.
