As the sun rises, the world starts to come alive. The birds start to chirp their beautiful songs, and the flowers that come in all shapes and sizes begin to open and take in the light. A town at the bottom of a mountain is slowly becoming alive too, the people wake from their sleep and go out side to work in the fields or run their stands that sale many different things. We focus on a family that lives right out side the town. The door to the house swings open with such a great force that it falls off. A man runs out the door with a girl on his shoulders kicking and screaming. the screams aren't of fear, but they are of joy. The little brown headed girl was Sung, everyone in town knew who she was, and they all loved her. The man who is caring her is her farther, Sam, and he loves his daughter.
"Sam, come back here and fix the door" a voice comes from inside the sod home. Sam stops and sets Sung down, "oh come on dear, it just a small fix. It's going to fall off again anyways." A tall slim women steps out of the house holding a cake, "Happy eighth birthday Sung." "Daddy, pick me up again," Sung is jumping at Sam's leg. "No more, daddies back isn't as good as it use to be," Sam holds his back. "Lets have some of this wonderful cake your mom has made," he reaches out for it. She pulls back but the cake slips out of her hand. The mom and Sung both pull back in shock but Sam dives for the cake. The cake goes split, not on the ground but on Sam's face. Sung runs over to Sam and starts to take pieces off his face and eat them. The mother looks down in anger but just starts to laugh and takes some of the cake as well. "Mommy, can me and daddy go to the village" Sung starts to jump up and down. "Yes please can we dear," now even Sam is jumping up and down. "Fine, i guess if you both want to. Just don't cause any trouble down there." Sam had already wipped off his face and is running towards town. Sung is running behind him having troubles keeping up. "It's like im raising two kids," she laughs as she walks back inside.
When they arrive at the village something is wrong. No one is around, all the stands are empty, some of the windows are broken, and even some of the walls are covered in something red. Sam hears sound coming from one direction down the streets. He picks up Sung and runs towards them. But his steps are quiet, even with Sung on his back. Sam runs up and down the streets, down alley ways, and up another street. Turning ever corner with great caution. The sounds are becoming louder, now even Sung can hear them. Sam turns another corner and is covered with blood. A man riding a horse cut down a guard standing in front of them. Sung screams and the horse rider sees them. He swings for them, with Sam quick reaction he picks the sheild up of the fallen guard. Sam knocks the sword out of the way and charges straight for the horse. When he has impact with the horse it falls over. Sam takes the as their chance to get away, and runs back towards home. Sung still holds on to his back but is lossing grip, "don't let go honey, everything will be ok." Sung turns around and see that there are now more horse riders following them. "Daddy, there are more of those scary people," Sung pulls her face into her back. Sam looks over his shoulder and sees that there are now five of them. He sees that they all have bows, this is what he feared most. He increases his speed, but the horses are slightly faster then him. As they slowly catch up they all draw their bows. Sung looks back to see the arrows all coming towards them.
"Sung, it's time to get up. If we sleep any longer are target is going to get away" a boy is standing over me. Why does this dream keep coming back to me. It happened over Ten years ago yet, I still remember it so clearly.
