College Life

It was about 3 weeks after high school had ended; and Naruto and everyone in his class had graduated. Naruto had applied for a college and still heard, nothing. Sakura and Naruto where now best friends, Choji didn’t live in the leaf village anymore, Sasuke was still the most popular, Gaara lived in the leaf, Sasuke and Naruto were still rivals, and Kakashi and Iruka, well lets just say.. They fell in ‘love’.

The blonde fox sat at his desk, asleep. He had been waiting for a phone call from the college and didn’t fall asleep until 2am. “Naruto!” a woman yelled. Naruto straightened up at the voice and opened his eyes wide.

“Yeah mom?” he yelled back.

“You fully awake?”

“Uh… yeah I guess. Why?”

“Because its 10:27 Hun.”

“Huh?”

“Your late.”

‘Oh crap!’ the blonde thought as he stood up. Even though school was done, Naruto still worked out and practiced baseball with Kakashi every morning at 10. “Mom!” he yelled while slipping a shirt over his head. “My car is totally out of gas! Will you drive me?” there was a sudden pause as Naruto stopped what he was doing. “Sure thing” she said back. Naruto exhaled and wiped his forehead. He proceeded and put on a pair of gray sweatpants, a blue shirt, and a messy baseball cap. He shuffled his way down the steps, and was greeted with a face full of bacon. “Baka! Wake up earlier and remember to fill up your car! Just because I’m your mom doesn’t mean I have to wake you up!” she yelled as her red hair flared. “Mornin’ Naruto.” Said a man’s voice. Minato, sat there sipping from a mug and reading a book. “Sleep in Late?” his father teased. “Shut up.” Naruto replied harshly while pealing the hot bacon off of his face. “C’mon Naruto, ill take you to school.” Minato said, standing up. Kushina threw the pan back onto the stove and looked at both of the blonde males out of the corner of her eye, scolding them on the inside. “Move it! Move it!” Minato whispered, urging Naruto to go forward.

They slid into a black truck as Minato inserted the key, and slowly eased on the gas.

“So sport! You hear back from that college?” Minato asked cheerfully. “No. Not yet.” The boy replied sadly. About 20 minutes passed until he was the baseball field. “Ok Naruto. Ill pick you up at two. OK?” Minato asked smiling. “Yeah, Ok dad.” He said as he slammed the car door shut. The car sped up and was out of sight in a matter of seconds. “Damn. Whys he always so happy?” I say under my breath. I see Kakashi out of the corner of my eye. He is leaning up against a fence with a bag slung over his shoulder. I run to his side before saying, “I’m so sorry! I Overslept!” I look and see a shift of black hair behind a shed and immediately look at it. A boy stands there, a shadow driven over half of his face, Sasuke.
