"Yeonji-ah!" Moonbin called out of nowhere, stunning her. She stiffly turns around, looking just at anything that aren't his eyes.

"Yeah?"

"Are you free tomorrow? There's this really pretty place I found."

"Tomorrow?" Yeonji hesitated for a moment. "Uh, okay? What time?"

"6 PM, let's meet at the park near school." He smiled. "I'll see you there, Yeonji!"

He ran off, not giving Yeonji a chance to even say bye.

The day ended. For any other student, it would've been bliss, for they'd get their rest day tomorrow.

But Kim Yeonji has never been more nervous.

If Sunmi never told her those 6 words, Yeonji wouldn't be this way.

"Maybe you're in love with him."

'Yeah, this is Sunmi's fault! If she didn't say that, then I wouldn't be like this. I don't like him, I don't like him at all..'

She told herself that, but deep inside, Yeonji knew that wasn't true.

The day has come, and all she could do was keep checking herself in the mirror, internally asking herself if she looked okay.

Hours passed with her in her room. It was 5:45 PM, when she left for the park. She got there a few minutes earlier, but not early enough.

Moonbin stood there, a huge grin on his face when he saw Yeonji.

"Yeonji-ah! You actually came!" He said, a light pink shade dusting his cheeks.

"Yeah, I actually did." She mumbled.

"Rocky told me a secret about the park! He said you can see the pretty stars there. Follow me!" He told her, an excited glint in his eyes. Yeonji followed Moonbin through a series of paths she had never seen before, until they stopped at the riverside.

The water glistened stunningly under the moonlight, the trees and the flowers looked magnificent.

"Beautiful, right? I know you loved the stars, so I thought you'd like this."

Yeonji's eyes widened at his thoughtfulness. She couldn't help but feel touched, and confused. How did he know that she loved the stars?

"Moonbin, this is amazing,

But why are you doing this?"

Silence filled the air, Moonbin thinking, and Yeonji waiting for his response. She was getting nervous by the second, but Moonbin only gave her a shy smile.

"It's because I love you, Yeonji."
