Thes beautiful soft oranges and pinks reflected off Stacy's dark sunglasses, and the quiet breeze rippled her silky blonde hair. She smiled slightly, her pink lips parting a bit. She began to walk down the creaky stairs, her fingers lightly trailing the banister, her shoulders relaxing as she sighed in contentment. She was about to meet her love.

A few weeks earlier, after finally agreeing to join an online dating site, she found the man of her dreams. Shoulder-length wavy chestnut hair matched with sea blue eyes made her heart melt. His broad shoulders and muscled frame had Stacy in a constant state of desire, and she frequently swiped through the pictures he had sent her in the few weeks they had been speaking. With a name like Quinn Bollinger, it made him unique and stand out; Stacy even thought he might be famous someday. Judging from the photos on his profile and the ones he had sent, he seemed to be very wealthy. Not that Stacy really cared about that though, she wasn't shallow, she liked to think. Oh, but he did have a way with words. His charming demeanor and easygoing attitude made him pleasant to talk to and he had easily swept Stacy off her feet.

And finally, it was time to meet. Stacy had flown from her state of Pennsylvania all the way to California to meet Quinn, and he had offered to pick her up from her hotel to go to dinner. Stacy had dressed up for the occasion. Her body was clothed in a white cotton sundress, tightly hugging her body. She opted for wedges to match, and curled her blonde hair and put on light makeup before making her way to the front of the hotel, ready to be picked up. She couldn't contain her excitement and her chocolate brown eyes flickered over every car passing, eager to see her love.

Quinn finally rolled up in an electric blue sports car, smiling widely, his white teeth glinting in the fading sunlight. She waved to him, and she noticed her hand shaking slightly. Was she nervous? No, she thought, I couldn't be, I've known him for weeks, I've seen pictures." Even so, her fingers wavered slightly, and she put on a smile as well.

He hopped out of the car, looking gorgeous in his dark suit and light blue tie. It matched his eyes, and he knew it. He confidently strode over to the waiting girl, and gave her a light hug. Stacy smiled against his chest and breathed in, making herself dizzy with his strong cologne, and she pulled away. They exchanged a few words before he placed his hand on the small of her back and lead her to the car, opening the door for her. Stacy slipped into the car and grinned happily. Finally.

"So, can I ask where we're going?" Stacy asked, her eyes on his sharp jawline. She couldn't help but wonder what his full lips would feel like on her skin...

"Well, if I told you, I'd have to kill you," he chuckled at his cliche joke, but he could tell it made Stacy a little uncomfortable. "I'm just joking," Quinn added quickly, making sure Stacy no longer had that slight look of concern across her pretty face. She didn't.

"Actually," he began, "I was wondering if maybe you'd just like to go back to my place. I can make us dinner? If not, don't worry, we could go to an actual restaurant, if that'd make you more comfortable. I do have a Plan B." He glanced over at her, trying to study her face and drive at the same time. She really was beautiful, and he hoped she'd want a little something after dinner too.

But to his delight, she answered him, saying, "I'd love to, I think that's a great idea." Quinn sighed with relief, and turned the car down his street, his fingers gripped tightly to the steering wheel, knowing what was to come, while Stacy had no idea. He'd done this before, but this time was different. He wanted to keep her.

Grasping her fingers softly, Quinn led her into his home. She trailed behind him, looking him up and down the whole time. Making dinner was simple, and they chatted through the whole process. But she didn't notice how he wasn't really listening to what she was saying. She didn't notice when he stopped listening entirely. And she didn't notice when he slipped something into her drink.

He had time. After drinking that, he knew Stacy would be out for a few hours. This wasn't his first time, after all.
