Kehlani's POV

It was the first day of school for Kehlani  and everything was going OK so far. She was kinda nervous about meeting new people so she just Hang out with just one person for the day.

Thats just until her friend Gabby came up to her. "Hey Kehlani what's up what you doing?" She asked. "Nothing much just chilling eating my lunch." She says

. "Hey do you see that cute boy over there his name is Ronnie." Gabby said pointing to the tall light skin boy playing basketball with a group of other guys. Kehlani looks up an admires his body since he's not wearing a shirt.

"Well he does looks pretty good, but he probably has a whole lot of girls wrapped around his finger." Kehlani replies. "Well I think he is cute and you should go over there and talk to him." Gabby says smiling. "Nah he aint my type he looks like a fuck boy to be honest." Kehlani says making a stank face.

Gabby got up and just rolled her eyes. "Fine you dont have to but are you going on the trip to New York City Tech College trip in October?" Kehlani looked up at gabby and shooked her head. "Yeah I guess I'll go, just for the fun of it or whatever." She said Still eating  her lunch. "Well OK when ever your ready to hang out let me know." Gabby said hugging and leaving Kehlani by her self. Kehlani waved goodbye and Gabby waved back.

When Kehlani turned around she felt something hard hit her knee. "Ouch!" She said looking up getting ready to pick up the basketball that was near her foot. But someone already ran up to he to get the ball. When she looked up she saw it was Ronnie.

They both bend down looking into each other eyes slowly as the moved to stand up. As she looked at him up and down she noticed the sweat glistening off of his body from playing ball.

"Um Miss." Ronnie said kinda awkwardly snapping Kehlani out of her thoughts. "Yeah?" She asked. "Um I'm sorry about what happened, one of my friends were just fooling around with the ball. They didnt mean to I'm sorry about that." he said.

"Nah its ok its fine" she said. He smiled at her showing off his perfect white teeth. "Hey um... What's your name?" Ronnie asked. "Kehlani." She replied "Kehlani huh? Thats a really beautiful name." He said Smiling again. "Thank You" She said. Kehlani blushed a little trying to hide it with a cough.

Ronnie just looked at her and smiled."Well my name is Ronnie. Nice to meet you." he said holding out his hand for her to shake. She reached out and shook his hand. She couldn't help but recognize how soft his hands were. "Well guess I'll see You later." he said. "Bye." She said as she watched him walk away back to his friends.

This Is Going To Be A Long School Year Kehlani Thought.
