Split Soul

      I squeal as I unwrap my last Christmas present. It was the new (and awesome) Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword video game. I quickly run over to my Wii and put it in, excitement causing me to bounce were I sit. I ignore my parents laughter as I sit there waiting for the stupid thing to start up. I growl in annoyance when the screen goes berserk.

      "Lina!" That exclamation came from my parents due to the fact that I had crawled behind the T.V. to do my own mechanical quick-fix job. I grab the black and red wire that was hanging uselessly and stuck it in the open hole. That was a big mistake on my part because that wire went to the new mechanism my genius dad invented. I let out a gasp as my body is enveloped with tingles and my vision goes black.

      "Lina!!" I hear my dad call out as a weird hum begins to drown him out. The last thing that I'm aware of before I am claimed by the darkness is my limp body falling onto the entanglement of wires below me...
