"Lucy, why? Why did you do this to me?"

"I-I didn't mean to. I swear. I am so sorry." I sit up in bed and look at him, wiping tears away. "It was a huge mistake, and I promise I will never do that again."

I don't want him to leave me. I love him more than anything. I was tipsy, but I still know what I did last night. Drinking is not an excuse for anything, especially cheating on your fiancé.

"I don't know, Lucy. I need a little bit of time to think about this. Okay? I'm not saying it's the end of us. I'm just saying we're taking a little break." He walks around the room, grabbing his phone and a few clothes, and other essentials he needs. "I'll be at my mum's house to think about this."

"How long will you need?"

"A few days...maybe a week. I don't know, but I'll contact you when I know what I've decided." He looks back at me from the doorway. "Be safe. I care about you, Lucy. No matter what."

Once he leaves his car, I sit there, trying to process what happened. We're not over, but technically we're not even together. I remember the day we first became best friends, a few weeks after Ava was born.

Finally, we're out for the summer. High school is brutal, especially when you were pregnant not long ago. About five weeks ago, I had a baby girl named Ava Rose O'Brien. I don't want her to have my last name because I just started talking to this guy. We're close friends, but he's now a pop star in a boy band called The Wanted.

They formed not too long ago, and now they're going to be touring many schools across the UK. I don't want to ruin his reputation by having a baby around. The paparazzi would ask if the baby is his, and I can't do that to him. I haven't even told him I was pregnant and now have a newborn daughter.

"Hey, Lucy, you made it," He walks over to me and sits on a bench near the park. His green eyes go so well with his brown hair, and he's sweet and caring. I think we're going to be great friends.

"Yeah. I couldn't miss talking, my friend," I nudge his arm and smile softly.

"Good. I'm glad that you're a true friend. Unlike some people that might try to act like it if we ever become big."

"Oh, you all will be a huge hit worldwide soon. I would bet on it. And no problem. It's good to have a friend that doesn't turn on you whenever their 'popular' friends are around them. My best friend in the whole world just stabbed me in the back instead of defending me. She made fun of me, the 'popular' girls, and guys."

"I'm sorry. I wish I could've been there to defend you and would've defended you in a heartbeat. I would never turn around and stab my best friend in the back unless they did something awful to me," He looks at me with sympathetic eyes.

He seems to care about me. I've never felt this happy except for when Ava was born. Other than that, he's made me the happiest girl ever. I know that he'll never hurt me and always stick up for me and defend me when he needs to, "I have something to ask you."

"Okay. What is it?"

"Well, after this school tour, we're going to America for a few weeks. I would like a friend to come along, and I was wondering if you'd like to come with me."

"I'd love to. I've always wanted to go to America and see what it's like."

I see the biggest smile come across his face. I think I made his day, "You don't know how much this means to me. I'm happy you're coming along," He gives me the most comforting hug I've ever had. I love this. I love that we're friends.

Those were the good times. I miss that so much. We would talk for as long as we could on the phone every evening until he had to leave for the tour. He was busy, but a few weeks later, when they were done with the tour, I packed up and left for America with him.
