1. Earth is good?

In her eyes, she believed the earth was beautiful and everyone was kind to one another. A place where you didn't have to worry about tomorrow.

She didn't know how wrong she was.

Ashton is probably losing her mind by now. Her fingers sliding on each key. She has a chance to finally go down to earth, she wouldn't let it slip.

As she kept going through each code, she noticed Bellamy Blake going down to earth as well.

She was curious, so badly wanted to know what he has done but didn't want to invade someone's privacy like that. She let it go.

As she finally finished the final assignment, she clicked enter and saw her name on the board. She's on the list of one of the people going down to earth.

She can finally go back to the place she dreamt of, the place she hoped to go.

Ashton quickly walked out of the room and kept her head low.

One of the guards stared at her and whispered to his friend, "is she the girl?"

His friend nods, walking towards her. Ashton just smiled to herself, hoping this would happen.

"Ashton Carter, would you please go-"

She cuts them off, "oh I know I'm heading there right now."

They were about to respond but she just smiles gently and is going to where the 100 people are at.

As she got there, she noticed some of them weren't happy about going, the other half were excited.

She was about to enter until a guard stopped her, "you're Ashton Carter, Correct?"

Ashton nods slowly, worried he might know who she is.. or worst what she has done.

He puts a wristband on her and checks her down on the list with her name on it.

"Go in." He orders then looks at the rest of the guards. "She's the last one! Get it ready!"

She lets out a huge breath, relief washing all over her. She thought she was done for.

"Wait Ashton Carter?" She hears someone say behind the door. "She's 22, she's not supposed to be in there!"

Ashton smiles gently to herself, knowing they were already too late.

She takes a seat next to some unknown person. She didn't bother making a conversation. Ashton was never good at talking to people, she would always stutter or say too much.

So instead she lets everyone else do the talking while she just nods and listens. Its what she was good at, listening and taking every word.

It was finally launched and the whole ride was shakey and uncomfortable. Making Ashton sick.

She kept looking at every direction, looking for someone.

Suddenly a screen pops up, showing Jaha.

"Prisoners of the Ark, hear me now." Jaha said through the screen, "you've been given a second chance, and As chancellor it is my hope that you see not just as a second chance for you, but for all of us. Indeed for mankind itself. We have no idea what's waiting for you down there. If the odds of survival were better, we would've sent others. Frankly we're sending because of your crimes made you expendable-"

"You're dad's a dick, Wells!" Someone shouts from inside the ship, making everyone stare at Wells.

"Those crimes will be forgiven. records wiped clean."
