*Flashback*
Mrs.Green knocked on the classroom door.
Mr.Ron let her in.
"Can I borrow Herman and Chance for an important conversation please?" Mrs.Green asked.
"Yes of course" Mr.Ron said.
Herman looks at Chance worriedly and Chance looks at him back.
They both get up from their desks and follow Mrs. Green outside.
Mrs.Green closes the door.
"Now boys, I know you aren't going to be expecting this but this is very shocking and I understand Herman of you want to skip the rest of school" Mrs.Green says.
Herman looks at Chance really confused.
"Boys, we know how your parents travelled to Italy, but they never made it back..." Mrs.Green trails off.
"What do you mean miss?" Chance asks.
*Everyone was staring at them from outside even Mr.Ron*
"Your parents got shot and drowned." Mrs.Green said calmly.
"What!?" Herman screamed.
"How, when!?" Chance shouts.
"They were in the airport about to get on a plane back and some people up to them and shot them and dragged them to a river and drowned them." Mrs.Green replied.
"Oh my god!" Herman screeched.
Herman burst into tears and hugged Chance tightly.
Chance hugged back a few tears leaving his eyes.
"I'm so sorry boys..." Mrs.Green apologizes.
"We'll try to stay for the rest of the day but if Herman can't then can I leave with him too?" Chance asks quietly.
"Of course" Mrs.Green says.
Chance and Herman went back into the classroom.
Chance had tear marks on his face and Herman's face was red and streaked with tears.

"Guys, what's wrong, you were crying outside" Bailey asked.
"Yeah we're worried about you" Dusty added.
"I don't want to talk about it" Herman cries.
"Do you want me to tell them then Herm?" Chance asks.
"Okay" Herman says.
"Right so miss came and told us to come outside and then she told us she had shocking news and then told us our parents got shot and drowned." Chance said tears escaping.
"Oh my gosh Chance and Herman, we're so sorry!" Bailey and Dusty hug the brothers.
