As she walked down the silent street. She began to hear the loud banging and yelling coming from one of the houses close by.
As she walked in the driveway the yelling got louder. She could almost recognised each word they were saying. She stopped by the mailbox and looked at the car parked in front of her, she recognised the car, it was her dad's.
She nervously walked to the door and began turning the door knob she quickly walked in shutting the door behind her and running straight to her room. She knew what was happening.
This always happens.
Fighting, Yelling, Screaming
She needed to get away.
Get away from all the pain.
She needed a way out and she needed one NOW.
