She could see now, that life is not as long as everyone expects. That everything comes to an end eventually. No one really has a lot of time here, and no one really knows what happens after death. She lay of the dirt looking up at the crying sky, and she cried with it. They shared their sorrows as they mingled into one.
Both hands were placed at her right side, griping tightly as to not let pressure off, instructed by the man who creeped out of the shadows. He told her he had risen up from the dirt and said everything would be okay, she was too weak to ask what was happening so she just stared at the darkness covering his face, right before he disappeared he told her that it will all be over soon and her eyes widened with panic and anxiety. Her heart beat was so fast and strong she could feel and hear the hard thud against her chest, her heavy breathing frantic and loud in her head.
She didn't want to move but her body, afraid of making the injuries worse but her body violently jerked with muscle spasms intermittently anyway, her head hit the ground as pain shot up her spine, hot and sticky liquid ran from the corners of her mouth and she coughed as the blood slowly built in her through .
In those last moments she regretted doing so little, being so damn straight forward with the life she shall soon leave. She'd have no idea what was ahead and this time her hot tears pored out like a stream for another reason, she was scared of what she had in front of her, and she knew the answer.
Nothing.

Tristian
He woke up in bed with the sun shining on his face, rolling out of bed was much easier than using his actual appendages, after a few minutes of just lying on his floor he groaned and got up. As he walked out of his slightly messy room, he kicking a few clothes out of the way makeimg a foot path and made his way into the kitchen where his best friend, Johnathan, sat at the island holding a cup of hot coffee for him.
"You know me too well, thanks bro." He gave him a hard pat on the back making him lurch forward and laughed at his lack of stamina.
"Yo, good morning to you too. how was sleep? Any better or still having those bad dreams?" He raised one very thick eyebrow up in questioning but Tristian dismissed his nosiness, that was one of his flaws, he asked too many questions.
"You coming to the gym with me today or not?" Tristian asked whilst taking a sip of his coffee, wincing slightly because of how hot it was. Johnathan rolled is eyes at his apparent dismissal of his questions but he knew not to push the subject any further.
"You know, I think I might actually come with you today. I have to sort a few things out at collage first but I will go." he put his head down reading his sappy book with a smirk on his face knowing Tristians reaction.
"YES! Finally you're going to come, ill meet you there at half twelve? That sound good? New year new you eh?" Johnathan placed his book down on the counter, picked up is plate and handed it to Tristian.
"Anyone ever told you that you ask a lot of questions," he rolled his eyes and chuckled a bit at the irony. "Make it one this afternoon, got to do a lot of revision for that test." and with that he was gone out the door.
"Ha, revision my ass. probably gone to see that smoking hot girl again. my boy getting him some." He made a gnarly sound to himself and washed up the plate and his mug.
you would never have guessed that Johnathan and Tristian had been best friends because they were so different, while Tristian stood at 6'2 Johnathan was only 5'9, Tristan was strong, sporty, a lady magnet and a little bit thick. Johnathan, on the other hand, was the opposite, he was slender and thin, a bookworm and not a lady magnet at all in fact he hadn't been on a date since he left secondary school and that was pushing on 5 years.
