Another summer alone. Mum and her new rich boyfriend are going on holiday to Portugal for the whole summer. I only really had one friend, Lauren, who I could invite over, but she'll probably spend her summer with her boyfriend Grayson. I was close with Ethan, but nothing ever happened between us. I'll admit, when i first met Grayson, I had a crush on him. Who wouldn't? Lauren seemed very into Ethan at first, but as soon as Grayson started to like her, she immediately changed her mind. She was like that.

"Goodbye, Mum," I called out the door after my mother as she left with rich-boyfriend. "See you in two months, Amber!" She called back to me. I barely even knew the guy, I bet Mum didn't either. As soon as Mum left, I got my phone out to text Lauren.
A: 'Lauren! Come round tonight? I could invite Grayson and Ethan?'
L: 'Sorry, Ambs, can't tonight. Grayson and I are going to the movie'
A: 'What about after that?'
L: 'Got to go. Talk later!'

I knew she'd ditch me for Grayson. I love them being together, but honestly they annoy me sometimes. It's awkward if it's just Ethan and I, so we always have to be with Grayson and Lauren. I guess I'll just do nothing tonight.

I open up Instagram to see Lauren's profile straight away. Her and Grayson. Obviously. The caption is 'What a great night, love this guy!' I decide to text Ethan, because I need someone at my house right now.
A: 'Hey, E, can you come over?'
Ethan doesn't reply. I wait for 10 minutes but i guess he's busy.

I decide to watch one of my favourite movies, Bride Wars, with some fuzzy socks and short shorts on. Also a Green Day t-shirt, which i cut to make it a crop top. I switch on the tv, when I hear a knock at the door. Lauren must've changed her mind after all.

I open the door to see an angry-looking Grayson. Wow. He is gorgeous. I quickly snap out of it and say "Grayson, hi?" Grayson says, "Can I come in?" This was so unexpected, I just open the door wider and gesture for him to come inside.

I REALLY HOPE THIS BOOK DOESNT FLOP. I REALLY LIKE WRITING.
