*Chapter 54* - The big question

Me and Clairina have been true mates for 3 months now, and everything is perfect, I know that I sometimes test Clarinas patience with my overprotective behavior, but as I told her, it's something she must learn to live with, I will never be able to remove my over protectiveness, she's my mate and it is the norm that I will do everything possible to protect her, which of course sometimes leads to my overprotective behavior. But I had toned down a bit, at least as much as it was possible for me, and Clarina had resigned that this was how it would stay, and we were now both happy with how our relationship was. After I had claimed Clarina, she quickly became a big part of our pack, and everyone would like to learn to know the future Luna, and Clarinas quiet and calm behavior had gotten everyone to love her, and she was therefore involved in everything our pack members did when they were in the pack house. They simply love her, and she loved them, and I couldn't be happier that Clarina was got accepted that easily, normally when there was introduced a new member to the pack, it would take a lot of time, before the new member would be completely accepted of the old members. But Clarina was accepted from the beginning.

I watched, with a contented smile, the change our oasis, before I through our link, contacted Clarina.

*Kitten do you have the opportunity to come to our place, I have something I want to talk to you about.*

I smile when I hear Clarinas answer.

*Of course, I'll be there in a moment, is something wrong?*

She asked worried, I told her everything was all right before I shut down our link, to make sure she didn't get an insight on my surprise, this was a great day and I had never been so nervous, I loved my little mate and was 100% sure that she loved me, yet I was nervous as never before, so nervous too how my mate will respond to my surprise. Constant thinking, is it too early? am I going too fast? But every time I come to the same conclusion, and this was a reason why I did this.

I went out and waited for Clarina at the entrance to the oasis, and smiled when I finally saw her, how could I be so lucky to have her as a mate, she was perfect in every way, sweet and friendly and totally unselfish, she was perfect to stand by my side as leaders of our pack, and perfect to get me to calm down when the situation overpowered me.

Clarina come up to me and put her arms around my neck and kissed me lovingly which I gladly return. She pulled back a little and looked up at me.

"Is everything all right Matthew? You sounded so serious."

She said nervously, but relaxed when I smiled and lovingly caressed her cheek.

"Everything is perfectly okay little Kitten, I just wanted you for myself. All our pack members have accepted you with open arms, and wanted to involve you in everything, which means that we don't had as much alone time anymore, so I think that we should change that. And what could be better than to meet in our little secret place where we are sure not to be disturbed."

I smiled gently, she gave me a quick kiss before I grabbed her hand and gently pushed her in front of me into the oasis. And heard her gasp when she saw what I had done, the whole oasis was changed into an inferno of declarations of love. I had, among other things planted roses, so that at our place was spelled with roses "I love you" and another place was also spelled with flowers "You and me forever." I saw how Clarina enchanted looked around at all the changes I had spent the last few days to get prepared, I knew that my little mate would love that I have planted flowers that each year would spring out again, and always remind us on this day. As Clarina finally turned back to look at me, her eyes grew big and her hand flew to her mouth. I had gone down on one knee, and had an open jewelry box between us. I stared up at her, with all my love evident in my eyes.

"Clarina since you came into my life, you changed my way of seeing the world, you have made me a better person and have made me the happiest man on earth, and if you will allow me, I will do everything in my power to make you just as happy. I love you more than I ever thought it was possible.

I sank the lump that the nervousness had given me in my throat, and I saw how the tears silently rolled down her cheeks. I took another deep breath, and continued.

"Clarina. Wonderful perfect little Kitten, will you do me the honor of marrying me?"

I said and looked anxiously up at her, I saw how her teeth were drilled into the lower lip before she opened it, as if to say something, but nothing came out, tears running faster. I was nervous, had I misunderstood something? Did I went too fast, what if ...? I was interrupted in my thoughts when Clarina threw herself into me and kissed me all over the face while she muttered.

"Yes, yes I will marry you"

I happily throw my arms around her and we ended up lying in the cleaning and kept giving each other Kisses and declarations of love. I was happy, my dream girl had just agreed to share the rest of my life with me, life couldn't possibly be better. We looked at each other before we share another kiss and we whisper in unison,

"I love you".

I smile, this is how life is suppose to be, and I which everybody could be as happy that I am.
