"Shit", she whispered to herself as she clung on to the ledge of her window for dear life hoping not to wake her father from his sleep.
It was passed state wide curfew. The only ones out this late at night were the night walkers. Blood sucking fiends that prayed on the weak and foolish.
Fraya was among the foolish who dared to walk into the night—vulnerable, frail and alone. Tired of living the life she was born into, she desperately wished to be free among the night walkers. She is what many would call a 'sympathizer'. Based on what little she knew regarding the nature of night walkers, she longed to come into contact with one.
She managed to finally climb down her window and land on the lawn. She snuck over to her car and frantically stuck the keys in the ignition and began to head out of the driveway.

Meanwhile in the dead of night in the streets of Minneapolis, not a sound could be heard—not a soul in sight. A few blocks down was a nightclub, renowned for its guests of a particular kind.
"What's keeping you down Prince?"
Prince with this somber look in his face avoided eye contact as he inhaled deeply.
"Think this place will be jumpin' tonight?" Prince asks the bartender as he served him a shot of a deep shade of blood.
"Oh I'm sure they'll be plenty of lost souls walkin' in here within the next our", the bartender assures.
"I donno I mean they're just not packin' in like they used to. It's been dry in here lately. I'm tired of drinking old blood. I want new blood, fresh from the vein", Prince expresses.
The bartenders eyes caught sight of Fraya walking in through the entrance.
"Oh yeah I know what you mean. I'm looking at fresh blood right now", he notifies as he points with his eyes.
Prince turns around in his stool to see her.
