Chapter 8

*I CRI - this isn't fair how can Legolas be so beautiful I have a crush on a fictional characterrrrrr 😭😂*

ARWEN'S POV
Aragorn seems off lately. He hasn't been accepting my show of affection - what is the matter with him? I feel like something is wrong. It's probably that elf. Ever since he's come, my love has been so distant from me. I must confront that Sindarin thing, and soon or I fear that I will lose my Aragorn forever!

But Aragorn would never betray me, would he? I can't believe I am thinking this - I must have trust in him! He loves me.

How do you know?

I just know.

Maybe he isn't in love with you.

He is!

Then why are you jealous?

I'm NOT!

Oh yeah, sure...

My inner self is battling my negative side. Ugh. Whether Aragorn loves me or not, (he does!) that elf must be the cause of all this - without him I would never even be feeling like this!

I shake myself out of its stupor and slide gracefully off my bed. Whatever. I think. The Midnight Ball is in a month, and I am almost certain that Aragorn will propose to me. I just need to look stunning for him.

ARAGORN'S POV

My father hasn't told Arwen yet... I sigh. I know that I must ask her to the ball with me. I cannot crush her heart. I love her, but as a sister and I would hate for anything to happen to her... but I do wish that Elrond would tell her soon. I cannot bear this act anymore.

Bu then again, the ball is in 2 days. I must ask Arwen before I lose her - and I must tell Legolas as well.

I rush over to Legolas' room and knock hastily. The beautiful elf pokes his head out gracefully and beckons me inside. As soon as the door is closed, we share a sweet but passionate kiss - way better than I've ever felt with Arwen.

Legolas and I just seem to get each other. I can't wait for the day that we can go public!

Little did I know, someone was watching us.

OK I KNOW THIS CHAPTER IS REALLY SHORT BUT I WAS DETERMINED TO LEAVE IT ON A CLIFFHANGER :3

I'm so sorry for not updating. I have had exams and dance shows and stuff and I didn't have time to write. I'm about to start the next chapter now so you won't need to wait too long :3
