"Oh no, oh no, what do I do? It's probably my mom... What if she sees? What if she finds out? What if she tells the others? What if--"

"Calm down, Daria. Don't panic. You have to get away, now. Take the stuff you need and come see me in our main base."

"Okay, okay. We'll talk later." Daria quickly hung up and looked at her toy that she bought today with Milena in her favorite toy store. "You're coming with me," she mumbled and swiftly grabbed it.

She put her phone, charger, earbuds and toy in her small black backpack which she always carried around, looking for an exit.

She heard her mom getting in the apartment. "How do I get out of here? Oh no..." She couldn't escape through the front door, she had to think of something else. She couldn't jump through her window, it was too tall. In the last moment, there was a sharp impact on her window. That wasn't a normal sound people hear every day.

When she looked down, she saw her friend Dushan Krstic, throwing weird white rocks on the walls of the building. Next to him she noticed a short black-red ladder, and he was wearing a weird black suit with a beanie.

"Daria, finally! We're leaving. Now. Use this!" Dushan said and expanded the ladder so she could escape.

She was surprised, but didn't wait. She wiggled out through her window and slid down the ladder onto the cracked concrete where Dushan was impatiently waiting, watching.

While he was tampering with the ladder, he said that they should go to Milena's secret apartment, following the shadows.
