"It's because I love you, Yeonji."

Her world seemed to have frozen in time.

"W-What?"

"I love you, Kim Yeonji. I always have. At first, I didn't understand. I didn't understand why there were these butterflies in my stomach when we talked, or why you were always in my mind when we didn't. I didn't know why I got scared when you said you were sick until everyone was shouting the truth in my face."

"Moonbin, I...." Yeonji trailed off. She looked back to what happened the past two weeks, from the day they met to the present, then to what her Sunmi told her.

"You have to consider the possibility. You can't just keep lying to yourself, Yeonji. Sooner or later you'll learn to accept the truth."

"I love you too."

It was Moonbin's turn to freeze. He wasn't expecting her to feel the same way, actually. He pulled her in for a hug, almost crying out of happiness. Yeonji's arms wrapped around his back, too. The two stayed like that for a while.

"I'm scared." Yeonji mumbled. It was almost inaudible, but the atmosphere was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop.

Moonbin chose to let her finish what she said and stood quiet.

"I'm scared that this is all just a dream. I'm scared that one day, I'll wake up and I won't find you anywhere. But most of all, I'm scared of hurting you."

"I promise you, this is real. I'll be right beside you, supporting you, and loving you. So don't be scared."

And really, that was all she needed to hear from him.
