Chapter 1
Authors POV:
Nova locked eyes with Kemo feeling as if she was seeing him for the first time in years. She observed every little thing about him; his scent, his eyes, his hair. Nova watched as his eyes left hers and roamed her body. She had only a red satin robe on and nothing on under the robe.
"Is there something you need?" Nova asked with much attitude.
He, instead of replying, walked into the house, closed the front door, and crashed his soft lips onto Novas. He picked her small body up off the ground and she wrapped her legs around his waist. Nova knew she should be telling him to leave her alone but her body wouldn't let her. She wanted this just as bad as he wanted this.
He took her up to her bedroom and made sweet love to her. When they finished, they stared into each other's eyes. They both missed just being able to look at each other and cuddle with each other.
"Nova.." He mumbled.
"What?" She asked quietly.
"I miss you..."
Nova missed him much more than he thought. There wasn't a day that passed that she didn't think about him.
"Kemo, I miss you too but we're divorced and we shouldn't have done that."
"Why not? We should do what we feel?"
"Where's you baby momma?" She asks. "You need to focus on your son and uh, girlfriend."
"I don't have a girlfriend, Nova! I take care of my son and that's as far as that goes with her. I messed up and I know that but sometimes forgiveness is the best thing you can do."
Nova got up and covered herself; as if Kemo hadn't seen her naked before. She went to the bathroom, locked herself inside, and ran her hands through her hair. She didn't need for this stress to be in her life.
She emerged from the bathroom with hot tears streaming down her face. She decided that this would be the last time her and Kemo spoke if it wasn't about their children.
'It's over. No more games' she thought.
"Kemonte," she started. "You have to go. I can't do this back and forth shit with you anymore! You need to leave.."
He sighed. He figured she would do something like this. He knew that this would probably really be the end of them.
He got up and put on his clothes quickly. He gave her one last look as Nova stared at the ground, standing completely naked.
He got in his car and started it. He had a bad feeling in his gut. He felt like something bad was going to happen. He decided to call his twins before pulling off.
"Hello?" Kadence answered.
"Hey baby girl."
"Hey daddy! Where are you? I miss you and I want to see you."
