potter's cousin

First day

                      
I wake up to Theo's fluffy tail in my face. I look around the room and see that the other girls are still sleeping so I quickly run to the shower so I can have a hot one. When I get out of the shower I see the other two waiting behind the door. "Hey guys how did ya sleep" I asked with a innocent smile as I stood in the door frame. The girls looked at me with a pointed look. "You took forever in there lily we have been waiting for 20 minutes you better of not used all the warm water!". Vivian said she seemed just a tad bit mad.
"Yeah lily we only have 30 minutes till class starts."
"Well then you two might wanna get a move on" I said with a big cheesy smile on my face. The other two rolled there eyes but I could see a smile coming onto there faces. I got dressed in record time and got my books together for my first day and waited for my two roommates to finish getting ready. Hopefully they are quick, I am really hungry.

I sat on my bed wondering if Harry got to school safely. I really hope he is alright. That boy is always finding himself in unwanted trouble, can't help but feel bad for him. "LILY!" Liz shouted in my ear.
"Out of dreamland yet" Vivian said as she nodded to the ancient looking clock on the wall hahaha look it's 8:55.
"OHHHH GOSH IT'S NEARLY NINE O'CLOCK WE ARE GONNA BE LATE!" I shouted in distress.
"Hurry up girls, what do we have first?" "Transfiguration"
"Ohh I heard that she is nice hopefully she will understand" I said glancing at the others the two of them looked at each other then back at me, they then laughed at me. "What?" I asked highly confused as to why they were laughing. "Let's just say you're gonna be surprised" Vivi said laughing.

But all I was thinking about was that I missed breakfast
 
As we rushed to first class I couldn't help but admire the paintings as they are all moving and taking to each other. Back at home if this happened my dad would freak.

Speaking of home I should probably send them a letter but they won't want an owl showing up so I have no idea what to do, I might ask Harry ohh but he wouldn't want to help me he hates me. I know I can ask Hermione she would know what to do.
"Is this the the right room?" Questioned Liz
"um I think so" I said as we entered the room half out of breath from all the running
"your late girls" Mrs Mcgonagall said
"um yeah sorry about that Mrs Mcgonagall we lost track of time won't happen again" I sad giving her a hopeful smile.
"I would hope not now girls sit down and get your stuff out" I looked at the other two and they had shocked looks on their faces that's weird.
"uhh I guess I will sit in front of you guys" I said as I sat next to a girl with striking red hair just like me, but she had the same uniform as Hermione she must be in Griffindoor.
"Hey nice to meet you my name is Lily" I whispered to her
"hey my name is Ginny why were you three late?" Ginny whispered back
"uh um you know"
"Lily here hogged the shower that's why we were late" vivian said interrupting me.
"Lily how did you get away with us being late Ms Mcgonagall is known for being very strict and doesn't tolerate tardiness" Liz said
"Um I don't know maybe she fell for my wonderful charms" I say giving them a cheesy smile. They all laughed in response shaking their heads
"Oh you and me are gonna be the best of friends I can already tell" Ginny says I spoke with her for the remainder of class I found out that she has 6 older brothers I would not last with that many siblings one is enough for me, and he is already a handful.

"How did you guys like class?" Vivi asked 
"It was ok I guess what about you Ginny " Liz said
"uhh sort of boring sort of fun but all in all it was good, how about you lily?"
"Uh it was quite fun you know learning all of these new things, hey what do we have now?" I asked
"Potions" Liz said as she had memorised our timetable
"Yay I do too" Ginny replied
"what are you guys waiting for let's go" I said excited potions seems like a cool subject
"Wait why do you guys look you're about to enter hell" I said starting to worry
"Well I have heard a lot of bad things about professor Snape" Vivi said as the other two nodded
"come on guys he can't be that bad" I said as I dragged them to the dungeons where our class was

"10 points from Griffindoor!" Mr Snape said "but, but what did I do" this poor kid with brown hair said on the verge of tears
"nope not hearing it another five points for talking back to a teacher and next time you speak its detention for you" yep I think i have jinxed myself didn't even know that could happen Mr Snape reminds me of a old sassy grandmother except he is also rude and mean. He is a big meanie who needs a new hairdresser, but I just keep making my potion as carefully as I can so he doesn't yell at me either.

I must say though potions is my favourite class so far, but the teacher could be improved by far. I mean he wasn't mean to me but still.
"ok times up everyone" Mr Snape says just as I finish. He starts walking around the room and examining each potion. 'Fail .. Fail.. Fail .. Fail .. Fail this is probably the worst potion I have ever seen he said to the boy next to me .. Pass' he said as he looked at me with big eyes it must be my hair, but I didn't mind it to much because me a muggle born did something better than some of the kids who grew up surrounded by magic, This made me happy for the rest of class.
"Hey Ginny how was class" she gave me a look that meant to shut up
"hey did you see how Snape looked at you" liz said
"yeah it was as of he had seen a ghost" Ginny said looking at me
"um ok I don't care but you know what I do care about" they all looked at me telling me to go on with their eyes
"FOOD, I Love food and I didn't get to eat breakfast but do you guys know what time it is, no well it's lunchtime" I said answering my own question as I skipped off to the food hall with the other three  laughing as they chased after me but before I reached the door I bumped into someone.

"Lily"

                        "Harry"
