Little visit

Running around the Heaven's gardens, a young angel was picking up flowers. Her lovely wings suddenly stood still as she heard her name being called. With the tiny bouget in her hand she ran towards the one calling her. It was her mother. Hugging her tightly, she gave a bright smile, "Yes, mommy? What do you need?"
The older angel smiled ever so kindly and pat her daughter's hair, "I thought we could go and visit someone, what do you think, Sophie?"
Sophie smiled brightly and started nodding, obviously excited. It's been a long time since they last time went to Earth to visit anyone. And she was, of course, curious who will they go to this time. She sometimes thought about what would it be like to live on Earth forever. She would play with human children, with animals, maybe ahe would even fall in love? Although mommy wouldn't be very happy probably and the young girl didn't want to make her beloved mommy sad. No love then. But she could make many new friends!
"Who are we visiting, mommy?" she asked happily, hiding her wings as she was taught. Her mommy did the same before answering her sweet daughter.
"One friend of mine. She had a baby not long ago. I'm sure you two will get along."
The little one's heart started beating faster. A baby! A real tiny human! This was going to be the first time she would ever see one. And she already couldn't wait much longer. Quickly she took Gabriel's hand and pulled her to the gates of Heaven. She was just so happy she almost bumped into Uriel there. Luckily for them all, Sophie managed to avoid him and Uriel caught Gabriel to prevent her from falling. Then he smiled brightly at the small angel, "Good morning, Sophie. What's all the rush about?"
"I'm gonna see a baby, uncle Uriel!" the young angel explained happily, "A real human baby on Earth! I'm sure he or she will be super cute!"
Uriel chuckled lightly and pat her hair with a nod, "For sure, Sophie. Enjoy your visit then, I can't hold you back for long, can I?"
Gabriel wanted to excuse themselves for making him feel bad about it but Sophie already took her hand again and started pulling her back to the gate before she could say anything. Turning back, she at least noticed Uriel was smiling. Good thing he didn't feel unwanted because of this. As they reached the gates, Sophie greeted the guards and then looked up at Gabriel, "Are you ready to go, mommy?"

Erica was sitting in front of her family's house. She watched her two step-sons running on the beach. It seemed impossible that they were already six years old. She still felt like it was just yesterday when she found the two babies on the ground and decided to adopt them. And there they were - Atsushi running around in his tiger form and Akutagawa tried to somehow get rid of rashoumon's obvious fear of water. It had to be uncomfortable when he couldn't swim properly because of the panicking beast in his swimsuit... But also sort of funny.
She looked up at the sky. A friend of hers promised to pay her a visit soon. Oda, her husband, was now inside with their son Rowen and she had to admit she felt a bit lonely sitting there on her own. She watched as Atsushi started making a sand-castle and Aku soon joined him, trying his best. Even rashoumon seemed to be interested in building a small sand fort. That made her smile at least. The boys obviously loved this place as much as she did. She took her scetchbook from her knees and started drawing her children playing, the sea and the sky above. She was so consumed in drawing she didn't even notice Odasaku coming out of the house, holding little Rowen in his arms. At least not until the baby let out a small cry, looking at her.
As soon as she heard that, she immediately looked up and took the little boy in her arms, gently kissing his forehead. Odasaku then kissed hers and joined her watching three children on the beach. Three? Yes, there were three of them now - a white-haired boy with shining gold and purple eyes, a raven-haired boy with a red beast coming from his swimsuit and an adorable purple-haired girl in light white dress. She would soon get dirty for sure but she was too happy to play with the boys that she obviously didn't care much. The girl's mother was coming from a side and had a gentle smile on her lips. Unlike her little one, she went first to the couple to greet them.
As soon as Eri recognized her, she stood up and let herself get a hug from her friend. Odasaku wished a good morning to Gabriel as well. They sat down all together, the angel borrowing the baby on her lap. For once the boy didn't cry when taken from his mommy's arms. He actually seemed to like his new auntie a lot. And she did like him too. As probably every mother, Gabriel loved all babies, the more when she knew the little one's family.
Meamwhile, Sophie, Atsu and Aku gave up on building a sand-castle. It was hard work and they just wanted to get fun, right? The angel ran in the water, careless about her dress, and splashed both of the boys with water. Atsushi laughed at that and ran after her but Akutagawa looked pretty embarrased by the fact rashoumon still hated water. Suddenly he started couching. Sophie looked at him with a confused look but Atsushi immediately turned to the beach and yelled "Mom! Dad! Aku is choking again!"
Faster than Eri or Gabriel could react to that, Odasaku left them behind, running to the little boy and laying him on the sand while holding his head up. The boy soon calmed down again. Now it was Gabriel's time to give a bit confused look to Erica.
"What's wrong, Eri?" she asked carefully, "Aku is ill?"
Erica nodded, biting her lip, "It seems so. He was probably born with it but maybe it happened just shorty before I found them. Atsushi is a tiger so his imune system is perfect but Aku..."
Gabriel pat her shoulder, "You're doing a great work taking care of them. We really should come visit you more often. Rowen is so cute I feel like melting!"
They both chuckled, glad nothing happened. Oda stayed with the kids. Both Sophie and Atsushi got out of the water and kneeled down on each side of Akutagawa. Each one took one of his hands with a smile.
"Are you ok?" Sophie asked, "You really scared me! I didn't know water made you feel bad... I promise to never do that again!"
"He's fine." Atsushi grinned, "This happens to him all the time. You didn't do anything, Sophie!"
Akutagawa pulled his hand from Atsushi's with a light glare. He didn't like his brother treating him as if he was weak. He lookd at Sophie with a pouty look, "Atsushi's a meanie. You mustn't play with him. Only play with me, alright?"
"Hey! No fair!" Atsushi yelled but Sophie suddenly burst out laughing, surprising them both. When she calmed down, she hugged them both, "Earth is so much fun! I wanna stay here forever!"

(A/n: I can't help myself... I can imagine Sophie dating Aku once they're old enough!)
