We made one more circle around the field with Emilia and I had to stop to take a break. My chest was tight making it harder for me to breath and the lack of oxygen made my heart beat faster than humanly possible.
I stopped by a big tree that was casting a shade on the green grass below and I tried to compose my breathing.
It was a warm day, a very warm day and I myself wasn't sure how I got into running with Emilia, like the morning jog wasn't enough for me already. I sweated like I was in hell and even with my hair up in a ponytail I still felt hot.
But I felt the need to run. To run alway from my problems. Not that they were many problems. Just stubborn thoughts that kept bugging me and they won't go away.
I knew I still had a lot to learn from here, but the feeling of uselessness was driving me crazy. My friends kept encouraging me that I was doing well, but I myself wasn't so sure.
Emilia continued to run and she was met shortly with Chris who joined her and ran the last half of the circle with her. "Cheater" I murmured under my breath as they made their way to me and stopped under the shade.
Emilia was breathing heavily but Chris, on the other hand, looked like that was way too easy. Well, of course, it would be when you run just a half of a circle. My heart beat finally calmed down a bit and I was breathing normally again.
"Oh-oh," said Emilia with pinned eyes in the direction of the House. "What are they doing here?"
I automatically turned in the direction of what she has been looking at and sure enough, there were four people standing on the small veranda.
Richard was sitting there but when he saw the group he stood quickly and made a step toward them.
We weren't that far from the House, but we couldn't hear what they were saying.
Richard looked uneasy like he was scared, maybe a little bit on edge. He held his hand forward to the man who was standing in front of everyone and he shook it.
You could see very well that there was some kind of hierarchy in the group and it was clearly visible by the way everyone stood. The man that Richard shook his hand with, was the one that stood in front of everyone and just on his right arm a little bit behind was another man. Behind them in maybe two feet, stood a man and a woman that looked identical.
"Who are they?" I asked Emilia but both of them with Chris were like stunned.
"If they are here to talk with Richard that can't be good. If HE is here in person that can't be good" said Emilia with locked eyes on them like if she removed them they might disappear.
"Who are they?" I asked again feeling even more confused and slightly frustrated because I wasn't aware of what was happening.
"This is the Oltan Circle," answer Chris like this was supposed to mean something. I looked him questionably. "Come on you haven't read about them, but you spend so much time in the library?"
"How am I supposed to read for something I didn't know existed, so please someone give me a real answer."
"Okay..." began Emilia. "so this is the Oltan Circle and they are probably the most powerful Dark Heganists with crystals. They kill Hunters"
My eyes imminently shot to the group. I didn't even notice that they have crystals. And now when I looked again I saw them pulsing on their necks.
The leader was wearing a red crystal on his neck just like the woman and the man behind him. The red crystal took power from the strong emotions and used fire. They could even teleport in flames, which was pretty cool.
