Silence filled the room, with no sound nor a creek to be heard. "Clara, Clara where are you. Speak to me", Ben screams slowly trying to work his way around in the darkness.

It was the end of HSC and max rings up Georgina. "Hey its Max, my mums already at the lake house fixing it up for us to stay. We are leaving in an hour pick you up then", Max says with an ok from Georgina. Through rough bushes and a rocky road as well as a storm that just started they made it to the house.

The 2 graduated friends were welcomed by a happy mother and 2 hot chocolates in her hand. Max and Georgina ran to shelter as if it was the last day on earth, trying not to get drenched.

An hour passed the storm wasent getting any better so they headed in and waited for it to dye down and get their bags. They gave up and headed out with an unbrella bearly covering them.

BOOM, BOOM, BOOM. The storm was getting worse and the trees were starting to rock.

The guys jumped grabing on to each other, jumping in the car.

" we need to get mum, shes still in their. Max says trembling with fear.

Max runs to the house screaming for mum to get out.

He was near to the door when he sees a flash of lightening hit the centre on the house that sends him flying to the ground.

Max, Max, he hears his name being called. Bending over him was Geogina trying get his response. "What happen", Max says rubbing his head. "You passed out when you went flying to the ground", Georgina says pulling him up and helping him to the car." MUM, MUM, MUM". Max scream with tears running down his face. "We'll get her later", Georgina says. Max's vision was starting to get blurry when he starts to see a figure appear from the opening door. "Dont come back", a strange looking woman says with her hair black and spikey. Her voice was nasly and  crackly. Her appearance looked like she had been striked by lightening. "Run Max run".

"Happy birthday Ruby", jemmy says as she parks by the lake waving to her out the car window. Aw thanks, Ruby replys with a big smile on her. By the afternoon the weather starts to change and the 2 girls start to pack up from a day in the sun. "The storms starting to get worse we should stay in that house over their until it clears", Ruby says trying to shout as the rain starts to pour rapidly. The girls head in not sure what to expect from an abandond house.

"Ah", the door slams as the girls scream. Inside it looked like an average house with a few cob webs around the house. "This isnt so bad" Jemmy said with a calm voice. They stand their silently roming the house in silence. "Not so bad for an abandond house", Ruby says breaking the silence. The day was getting later and the sky was getting blacker. "The storms getting worse, we should probly find a

Place to sleep. What harm can we do to stay". Jemmy says getting a nod from Ruby. "Wooh, whats that" Ruby stares down in confusment at a black spot near the couch. "Looks like somethings been burnt", Jemmy says coming out from a room. The girls went through the rooms and choose a bed. The girls hop in and fall straight asleep.

The girls wake up to a sound of a bang and a big flash of light from inside the house. They jump out as they hear the sound and scamble under the sheets hopping they were dreaming. The place went silent and the 2 girls spoke no word. Then they heard a sound from the living room. The girls huddle together under the sheets breathing heavily against each other. It was the sound of an evil laugh that sounded nasly and crocky.
