Chapter 2: Aboard the Fairy Tail Ship

Hey guys! I'm feeling inspired to write this story from all the other great ones out there I've read so far, but I'm putting a few different twists in mine. Hopefully it'll be worth it ❤️

Natsu lead Lucy onto the large pirate ship, leaving her fascinated and breathless at the same time. "Wow! I've read all about pirate ships, but I didn't suspect they'd exist!" Lucy's eyes lit up and sparkled from admiring every aspect of the ship. Natsu glanced back and slightly smiled from her wondrous expression.

She saw many members glance at them, curiously wondering about her. They stared, which make her skin crawl uncomfortably. Shivers ran down her spine from all the unwanted attention she was receiving.

"Ey Cap'n, who's that girl?"

Captain? Wait, he couldn't be-

"Aye, Gray. I think we may have another clue to what we're searching for." Natsu said to the other well-toned male, slightly paler than him. He had dark black hair with a strong jawline, having an intimidating vibe. He had some sort of symbol on the side of his chest, which left her curious. She looked back as Natsu, who had the same thing on the side of his shoulder, except it was printed red.

"Excuse me, but I was curious about the symbol on your chest." Lucy shyly asked the man named Gray, who patted his chest. "It's the Fairy Tail print, every member of the crew has one. It's on the side of the ship and the flag too, look up." He pointed to the flag that whipped in the breeze, so Lucy looked up to see the same symbol.

Gray chuckled at the blonde who smiled as she was so fascinated with the information, shaking his head from her curiosity. "The name's Gray Fullbuster, I'm an ice Mage."

Lucy nodded her head, smiling. "Lucy Heartfilia."

Natsu stood close by her side. "So, lemme introduce you to the crew, Lucy." A bunch of members stood in front of her, all different shapes and sizes, each person having a different trait to them. "This is Levy, she tends to be our translator for any scripture. She's a bookworm I gotta say."

Levy was a short petite young woman, her short hair in relaxed waves. She wore a yellow dress, returning a gleeful smile to Lucy. "Yup, that's me! I'm definitely the one to go to if you need any information." Lucy had a feeling her and Levy would become very close from having similar interests.

Natsu nodded his head to the next person. "That's Gajeel, he possesses the magic of being an iron dragon slayer. He comes in handy whenever the ship's under attack, pretty useful crew mate."

Lucy studied how scary he looked, extremely tall and broad, well-muscular with long jagged black hair.

"You better be helpful or else." Gajeel muttered, crossing his bulked-up arms in front of his chest. Levy nudged him in the torso with a small elbow, giving him a signal to shut the fuck up.

"This is Juvia, she uses water with her magic. She's a life saver if the ship ever gets flooded." Lucy admired her beautiful blue wavy hair, it had the perfect amount of volume to it.

"Just stay away from my Gray, Love Rival." Juvia said, instantly making Lucy take a step back from her sudden comment.

The next person in line was an older female, maybe by a year or two at most. "This is Erza Scarlet. One of our best combat fighters, and she's next in charge whenever I'm out doin' other stuff."
