As I walked I noticed a ladder with a trap door at the top. Little specks of light peaking through. The tunnel had came to a dead end. I thought to myself that this may be my way out. I was also very hesitant because of all the other traps. I didn't want to put myself into more danger, but at this point what could I lose? Maybe my life but that would be better than living underground on stale bread and water for the rest of my life. I climbed up the ladder. It hurt to climb. I used all my strength to push the trap door open. It weighed like what seemed 500 pounds. Then it swung open and hit the ground hard. I felt a warm breeze of air hit my face. I opened my eyes.
I Saw Light.
