Don't you try to hide
With those angel eyes...
If you let me inside
I won't hold back this timeWhile Phil's first encounter with Dan was a bit, well, odd, he was determined to get to know the dreamy hazel-eyed tattoo artist a little more today. Iesha had argued with him quite a bit about it yesterday, and deep down Phil knew he should probably listen to her because the woman was seriously always right. However, Phil also had a different feeling about his guy...
Then again, Phil had a "different" feeling about the last guy, and the guy before that and the girl before him...
Phil tried not to concentrate on that as he made his way to the tattoo shop.
He walked in at 4:11, four minutes before his scheduled appointment time. As if to be expecting him, Dan peeked his head out of his office and his eyes immediately go to Phil.
"Early. Eager, are we?"
Phil rolls his eyes, "I'm not that early."
"We didn't get a chance to talk much yesterday," Dan says, stepping fully out of his office and completely disregarding Phil's comment, "However, Justin says that you just want to do the outline of this tattoo today?"
"Yeah, I'm on a tight schedule and I don't have time to get the entire tattoo done tonight - and I'm going out of town soon too, so I'll likely have to schedule to do the shading and coloring for another day."
Dan just nods, seeming to understand, "No problem. Let's get to work then, shall we?"
They walk into the office. Music was playing, and Phil wasn't sure he knew the band. The walls were painted black and there was an array of artwork scattered on the walls, each in gorgeous, gothic looking picture frames. Most of the artworks were in black and white. The desk, cupboards, the stool that Dan would presumably be sitting on and the two chairs in the room that weren't the tattoo chair were all white. Phil sat down on the edge of the black tattoo chair and Dan sat down on the white stool that had wheels on the bottom of it, which he used to slide himself over to his desk.
"Let's get a stencil going, yeah?" Dan asks.
"Yeah. I want it right here," Phil says, lifting his leg slightly to show Dan the area he wanted the tattoo. Phil was wearing shorts today so that his calf was easily accessible since that was where he wanted that particular tattoo. His legs were covered in tattoos just like his arms. Dan looks to Phil and nods, then starts working on the stencil.

Phil honestly couldn't take his eyes off this guy. He was beautiful. Phil could just vaguely see dark roots peeking out from underneath Dan's blue-dyed hair, and all of his tattoos were really gorgeous. As Phil looked around the office, he noticed a lot of the artworks on the walls were Harry Potter related, and he noticed that Dan had a Pokemon tattoo on his right arm, which Phil felt said a lot about Dan's personality. He was a nerd, just like Phil!
However, when it came to conversation, Dan was a bit more difficult.
"What's this band that's playing? I like them," Phil comments at the music filling the small office.
"Gemini Syndrome," Dan states, plainly.
"What other bands do you like?"
"My Chemical Romance, Radiohead and Muse are probably my top three."
Phil would have been excited to get more than three words out of this guy finally, but he said literally right after Phil asked him the question, as if he'd been expecting it, like it were rehearsed. Phil supposed it was likely that this guy had been asked that question before, so he decided to think of something else.
