I've been wanting to propose to you for about 2 months now. And now, it's the time to do that.

I went inside your apartment, from the window of course, seeing you lying on your bed — asleep; and that's what I thought. I went closer to you and crouched down, pulling a strip of hair away from your face and keeping it behind your ear. Then I heard you breathe harder and harder every second, which got me worried.

I tried to shake you, telling you to wake up. The box with the ring inside, fell from my pocket and onto the ground, which made a loud thud. Tears began to fall from the corner of my eyes, sobs of mine, echoed throughout the whole room. I screamed for help, then Gramps, Wendy, Erza, Elsa (Gray) and Mira came rushing in and told me to bring her to the infirmary.

I nodded and carried you in princess style, then rushed her to the infirmary, which is located at the guild. I watched them do their things to you, which made me more worried sick. Tears fell from my eyes like a waterfall, maybe later I'll flood the whole guild. I tried to remember our happy moments, but remembering them hurts more.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, praying and hoping that you'll be alright.

About 10 minutes later of being worried sick and crying, Wendy and Porlyusica turned to face me with sadness. I looked at them, then glanced at you with tears flowing harder than before. Wendy broke down crying, with her hands covering her face, just like how you cry. Porlyusica took a deep breath with a hint of sadness.

I shook my head in disbelief. "N-No. . . no!"

"I'm sorry, Natsu. But,

she's dead." I shook my head repeatedly in disbelief, while saying the word 'No' repeatedly, that's the only word I could think of right now.

I broke down crying, with my hands glued to my knees, then crawled swiftly towards you and cried beside you with my hands on your hand.

The smooth and cold breeze touched my skin as my tears fall down like bullets, staring at your grave endlessly. I just couldn't believe it happened. I couldn't believe that you died. That you died infront of me, I didn't even get the chance to propose to you.

"L-Luce.. I'm sorry... I-I love you.. so damn much.." I crouched down and put the ring and flowers I was suppose to give you before, then kissed the stone, carved with your name on it. "M-Marry me... You'll be in my heart, always and forever."
