[No Ones' POV]
You lay on the hospital bed and stared at the ceiling. You felt lonely because you told your friends not to tell Jungkook about you being in the hospital.
Yeseul and three of your friends came into the ward. Dami sat on the chair next to you and held your hand.
“I still don’t understand why you didn’t want Jungkook to know about you being here,” Minha said.
“Something happened but you guys don't have to know..” You said as you stared out the window.
"Oh come on Y/N, we're your friends and we have the right to know. Did something happen? Did you guys fought?" Yooha asked.
You let out a sigh and look over at their faces.
"He cheated on me."
"WHAT?" The four of them said simultaneously.
"With who??" Dami asked. They can't believe their ears because you and Jungkook were the most peaceful and the sweetest couple they've ever met.
"Haeri." You answered shortly. Not wanting to make you more upset about what happened, they decided not to ask further questions.
You were still hoping that Jungkook would know about your condition but your ego is too strong. The scene played in your mind over and over again.
[Flashback]
You just came back from the grocery store and entered the place you shared with Jungkook. You dropped the groceries on the floor at the sight. Jungkook was making out with your best friend, Haeri.
“What’s all this?” You asked angrily.
"Y/N, it’s not what it looks like.” Haeri said in a shaky voice as she held your hand.
You pulled away harshly. You felt bad for doing that to your own best friend but what she did was unforgivable.
“You yourself knew why I did this, Y/N!” Jungkook said as he pulled Haeri away.
"You cheated on me just because I wouldn't let you touch me? You are unbelievable-" You said with teary eyes.
Jungkook said nothing and he went out of the place, bringing Haeri along with him.
You legs felt weak and you dropped your knees to the ground. You cried your heart out and the next thing you knew, everything went blank.
[End of flashback]
You stared at the ring on your hand and run your finger over his initials engraved on it. You started coughing non-stop and you held your aching chest.
“Y/N, are you okay??” Yeseul asked with concern.
“I’m… fine… Really…” You said as you cupped your mouth.
You widen your eyes at the sight of the blood that covered your palm.
“Omo! Call the doctor! She’s coughing blood!” Minha shouted and Yooha quickly ran out of the ward to find the doctor.

Jungkook woke up from his nightmare, covered in sweat. He dreamt that he stabbed your chest continuously. He cupped his face with his hands and calmed himself down.
He went down to the kitchen to get a glass of water. He poured the water in a glass and drank all of it in one shot. He put the glass on the counter and let out a soft sigh.
Just then, a huge rat ran across his feet, making him stagger backwards and his hand accidentally hitting the glass off the counter. The glass fell to the floor and broke into pieces.
“Shit.” He cursed under his breath and picked up the shattered glass.
His phone rang and the ID caller made him frown.
“Yeseul? Why is she calling me at this time?” He said before answering.
“Jungkook ah...” Yeseul said between her sobs.
“What is it? Why are you crying?” he asked. I have a bad feeling about this, he thought.
“It’s… It’s… Y/N... She’s gone.” she said.
"Gone? Gone where?"
"Gone as in she's dead, Jungkook!"
“No… It’s impossible! She looked fine when I met her five days ago!” Jungkook said, still didn’t believe what Yeseul’s just said.
“She… told me not to tell you this- she was diagnosed with a heart disease. You better come here quick. I’m at Seoul Hospital.”
Yeseul's voice sounded weak and he ended the call. He quickly ran out of his place and hailed a cab.
"To Seoul Hospital, and please hurry," Jungkook said as he panted.
Seoul Hospital
Jungkook ran up the stairs since the elevator can’t be used. He panted as reached the ward. He saw Dami crying upon the person under the cover.
He froze in his steps before making his way towards the hospital bed slowly. His hands were shaking badly as he opened the covers. He broke into tears when he sees a beautiful face that he used to admire, looking pale. He held your lifeless hand and planted a soft kiss on it.
“Y/N, I'm sorry. I was such a fool. I should've known what you've been through and be there for you instead of pushing you away. I'll never forgive myself,” he said between his sobs.
5 years later
Jungkook was in with Yoongi and Namjoon in the studio when Jimin came in and patted him on the shoulder.
“Jungkook-ah,” Jimin said and he look at his hyung.
“Mm, what is it hyung?"
Jimin showed him your favourite flower and it hit him.
“Thanks for reminding me, hyung.” Jungkook said as he gave him a bitter smile.
“May I come along?” Namjoon said.
“Sure hyung.” he answered shortly.
At the graveyard
“I thought you forgot…” Yooha said.
He smiled weakly at her and knelt down to the ground and put the flower on top your grave.

Died of a heart disease
Mr. and Mrs. Cha’s only child.
Namjoon gave Yooha an assuring hug as she cried softly. Little drops of rain fell onto the ground and so as Jungkook's tears.
