I casually walked into first period with my buddies Ryan and Shane. They had been my buddies since 7th grade when we un-screwed our teachers chair causing him to fall in front of the whole class, ever since then we had done everything together. We got to our seats dreading the test that was about to be handed out. Mrs. Liles gave us a short review and handed out the tests yapping about how this was going to be 40% of our grade. Ryan and me used hand motions as we mocked Mrs. Liles when she turned around. "Alright everyone quiet down the tests are out and there is no talking, you may begin". I stared at my test my mind completely blank. I instantly regret not studying for this, I didn't know any of the information. Thankfully the class was interrupted when the door closed loudly. "Oops sorry" whispered the girl entering the room. Mrs. Liles stood up and looked at the paper the girl was holding in her hand which I assumed was to be her schedule.
"Alright everyone this is Madison Blake".
"Its Maddie" whispered the girl.
"Well Maddie welcome to world history". said Mrs.Liles as she gave her a warm smile.
Maddie was beautiful. She had long wavy dark brown hair with hazel eyes. She wore dark skinny jeans which hugged her waist perfectly, a light blue crop top and black converse which seemed to look new.
Maddie you'll be sitting behind Mr. Brooks. Chandler raise your hand so Maddie knows where to sit. I raised my hand as she made her way to the desk behind me.
"I'm Chandler". I say smiling as I stuck my hand out to her.
"Maddie". She softly says as she shook my hand.
The bell rang dismissing us from class. Shane and Ryan shoved me asking me questions about the test, and how they secretly cheated. I honestly couldn't get interested in their conversation because my mind kept going back to Maddie. " Hey ill catch up with you guys later" I turned around just in time to see Maddie exiting out of the classroom. She looked at her schedule and back obviously to see if her classroom was anywhere in sight.
I walk towards her direction, her eyes meeting mine. " Hey, do you need some help finding your classes or are you good?
"yeah that would be great I dont know where any of my classes are"
"may I?"I ask reaching for her schedule
She gives me a simple nod before handing me the white piece of paper revealing her classes. Unfortunately we only have first period together but I don't let the disappointment show in my face.
I walk Maddie to all her classes until the end of the day. The bell rings dismissing us from last period.
"So how was your first day?" I ask.
"It was alright. Better than my old school."
In response I give her a simple smile, and nod.
We walk outside to the front of the school. Do you need a ride? Orrrr..
"oh no that's okay I'm going to walk home I need to get used to all of this she waves her hands to gesture everything im front of us"
I lightly chuckle, I was struck with a hint of disappointment, I know I only just met her but something about her makes me want to be around her.
"okay another time?"
"Definately" she says before smiling and walking away.
I am left standing alone. My mind thinking of hazel eyes whom they belong to a girl named Madison.
