"Aradia?" Alyssa whispered.

"Sort of." The witch replied. "I mean it's a vision of me.. sent by me.. but it ain't me."

They were standing in front of each other in pure darkness. All Alyssa could see was her.

"How did I.."

"You're not here. You think you are. High witchcraft can be a gift, won't you agree?" Aradia smiled proudly and blew at her nails.

Alyssa tapped her jacket pocket.

"Ah, I took away from blade.. not that it would've hurt me." Aradia informed.

"What are you playing at?"

"Playing? Please. This is not a game, Alyssa. This is the beginning of a new time, and this?" She gestured towards the darkness around them. "Is just a glimpse of it."

"What, emptiness? You'll end everything?"

"A way to put it. You see, the world has gotten bad, selfish and.. inhabitable. By the year 2020, all humanity will be gone. Wars, massacres, blood of your own, that's all the mankind would know."

"How do you know that?"

"Because I've seen the future. Countries fighting and bombing each other. It's going to be slaughterhouse. Torture, loss and such profound pain that eat you up alive."

"So what are you gonna about it? Bring in the end earlier than it's meant to?"

"I'll bring in silence. Silence brings peace, nothingness, bliss and stillness."

"And requires butchering everyone."

"Then so be it. Humans aren't the whole universe. It will exist after them, just as it did before them."

"Why are you sabotaging this realm?"

"For power. Spirits are easier to control than humans."

"You're no one to be the judge of this world's fate, you evil b*tch."

Aradia smiled. "Thank you."

"Remember. I will end you. Anyhow."

"Oh!" She exclaimed. "That reminds me.. the real reason I called you here. Don't bother fighting and running. You and that guy with you - Levi; I'm gonna kill you both. You'll end up just like Robb."

Alyssa's eyes snapped up. "Robb's dead?"

"Worse." Aradia whispered.

Alyssa remained still. "I don't care. He was working for you anyways."

"He wishes he was, honey."

"What do you mean?"

Her eyes slowly opened. She was back.

"Hey, you okay?" A soft female voice asked.

Alyssa turned her head to see Crystal sitting beside her, she was holding her hand.

"You brought me back?" She asked.

Crystal nodded. "As fast as I could."

Alyssa sat up on the bed and coughed. "Where are we?"
