Hanna's POV:

"Okay, that is so not what happened." I defend. "I was looking for my mascara. I did not just go 'oh, I feel like taking a shower with Caleb in clothes.'"

"Mhm. Sure." Caleb replies sarcastically.

I'm about to say something back when I'm interrupted by my phone. I look at the screen, it's my mom.

"Hey mom what's up?" I ask.

"Honey, when are you coming home?" She asks.

"Three days, why?"

"I need you to come home now."

"Why?"

"Just, catch the earliest flight you can. I gotta go. Love you." The line went dead. That was weird.

"Erm, guys?" I ask.

"Yeah?"

"I have to get home."

"What? Why?" Caleb asks.

"I don't know, but my mom needs me. You guys stay though, I don't want to ruin this for you." I say.

"No, no I'll come with you." Caleb says and I smile at him.

"Are you sure?"

"I'm sure." I lean up and kiss him for what could have been forever, or until we heard a forced cough.

"Toby, don't even start." Caleb says and we all chuckle.

"You guys stay. I'll see you in three days?" I ask Spencer and Toby. They nod and we all exchange hugs before Caleb and I head upstairs to pack.

"Mom, I'm back in Rosewood, what did you want?" I ask over the phone, as soon as my flight lands.

"Come home, we have a very important dinner tonight. Be home at eight." The line went dead again.

A dinner? I returned from Hawaii because of a dinner? Wow, way to ruin my vacation.

"So what did your mom need?" Caleb asks.

"Apparently, we returned because of a freaking dinner." Caleb raises his eyebrows.

"I don't even know." I say. "But I won't survive it alone without freaking out about how she ruined our vacation, so you're kinda stuck with going with me."

Caleb chuckles. "Nothing I'd rather do."

I smile.

"Mom, I'm calling to tell you that I invited Caleb to dinner, okay?"

"What? No! No, he can't come. A different night. Bye honey."

What is going on with my mom? Either way, I've got to tell Caleb he can no longer come.

"I'm home." I yell at ten past eight.

I hear shuffling and my mom running from the kitchen.

"Come on in, honey." My mom ushers me into the kitchen and I'm confused.

My confusion only grows when I see Sean Ackard, my ex boyfriend and his dad, Pastor Ted in the kitchen.

Sean and I exchange a glance and then I turn my attention to my mom.

"Well, come on, let's start dinner." Pastor Ted says, trying to ease the awkwardness in the room. We settle in and sit down. Everyone begins to dig into their food, but I'm too nauseous to eat. Why am I sitting at a table with my ex boyfriend, ex boyfriends dad and my mom?

"So, uh, mom, I hate to be rude, but I have plans tonight." I say. I really don't, but I need to get out of here.

"Cancel them. There's something we need to tell you." Wait, who's we?

"Who's we?" My eyes almost pop out of my head when I see my mom entwine her fingers with Pastor Ted's but what really drives me crazy is the ring on her finger.

"We're engaged." I try hard to not spit out my water. My mom, engaged to Sean's dad. Will we have to live together? My eyes widen at my next thought; will we have to share a room? I didn't know my mom was in a serious relationship. Hell, I didn't even know my mom was in any relationship, especially with my ex boyfriend's dad! I feel dizzy. Everything's spinning in circles. Sean's been annoying me to no end lately, trying to get me back. Ive been able to avoid him, but what will that be like if were under the same roof? How will Caleb react to this? Oh God, Caleb. How am I supposed to stop him from killing Sean?

My mom knows about what happened with Sean. Why would she do this to me? And more importantly, how am I going to live with this?

Before you guys start asking, I know pastor Ted comes in later in the show and I know he's not actually Sean's dad. But in season one they said Sean's dad is a pastor so... Yeah. Too bad I have replaced Sean's dad.

Just a fair warning there is going to be some Sean & Hanna scenes but they won't be like, ship scenes.
