💖Chapter 4~ I promise, forever and always💖

Third person's pov

The city slowly wakes up with Lauren following shortly after, as for Dinah she is still sleeping although that doesn't really suprise Lauren, as she knows Dinah loves sleep a lot. Sleepy head is what Ally, their small friend, calls her.

Lauren sits up and crosses her legs adjusting herself until she feels comfortable, then she silently sits there staring at Dinah, taking her beauty in and trying to embed this image of Dinah into her head. She admired every detail about her, she looked at how her hair was sprawled everywhere and her right hand was on the place Lauren was previously positioned in, her other hand on the pillow next to her head while laying on her stomach, with light faint snores leaving her lips.

Looking at Dinah forced a smile upon Lauren's face, she kissed her forhead and then took of slowly towards her bathroom. Picking up her toothbrush she started brushing her teeth, after she was finished she went back into her room looking for an outfit to wear to school, satisfied with white jean shorts and a black crop top with long sleeves she took a shower and got ready for a day filled with kaios.

When Lauren came out of the bathroom she was suprised to see Dinah awake she thought she would of had to wake her up, she assumed Dinah heard her footsteps, she shot her head up from her phone looking towards Lauren as her blurry vision rapidly focused into a more evident one and when her eyes fixated on her beautiful green eyed goddess, she smiled a lazy and sleepy smile with a casual "hey" leaving her lips.

"Hi" Lauren responded. "Are you okay" Dinah asked, "feeling better I guess, which is progress" Lauren said with a chuckle forming after her sentence. "Yeah it is and hopefully your happy soon, after all that's my job as your best friend, to make my lolo happy I mean that's what I'm here for" Dinah's smile grew wider exposing her cute dimples above her cheeks. Lauren smiled too her teeth soon biting into her bottom lip, trying to stop her smile from getting any bigger after she heard Dinah call her "my Lolo" and see her adorable dimples, but her smile soon fell when she remembered that Dinah also said "your best friend".

That was the exact problem, Lauren wanted them to be more than best friends, and that made it even clearer to Lauren that Dinah didn't feel the same, she knew Dinah didn't at first that's why she would try her best to form a relationship with any blonde haired and brown eyed girl which clearly failed but the fact that Dinah said it out loud that they were/are best friends destroyed any hope of Lauren thinking they could possibly be together.

"What's wrong Ralph" Dinah questioned noticing lauren was now frowning and zoned out. "Nothing Dj, just thinking" she stated. "What are you thinking about, it doesn't seem like something good" Dinah asked. "I just really don't want to go to school it's literally hell" Lauren responded. Dinah let out an over exaggerated sigh "I know me neither but atleast we get to see Jerrie, Lesy, Normally oh Chloe too she's so pretty and we can't forget Dua, Kehlani and Zendaya" Dinah voiced sounding excited. "Yeah I agree which is why you need to go home and get ready" Lauren said forming the fakest smile. "Lighten up Lo smile more you have a beautiful smile" Dinah said getting out of Lauren's bed.

"Thanks Dj your smile is gorgeous" Lauren responded. "Your welcome lolo" Dinah softly whispered walking out of Lauren's bedroom, she lazily sauntered over towards Lauren's front door sliding her foot into her converse shoes and tying the laces. Clutching her coat and opening the door she shouted a pressed "bye lolo see you at school" looking over her shoulder towards Lauren, she then closed the door and ran down (buy down on iTunes) the corridor, through the main entrance making her way home.

Lauren's pov

I slowly exited my room after spreading my bed, frustratingly dragging myself down the stairs letting out a long over exaggerated sigh. I went to the furtherest cabinet in my kitchen getting the bread and putting 2 slices into the toaster, meanwhile I was impatiently waiting I went to turn on the television skipping through the channels, realising there wasn't any entertaining shows to watch I put a music channel on. After hearing the infamous familiar dinging sound from the toaster indicating it was finished, I slid across my tiled kitchen floor towards the fridge and took a jar of Nutela out retrieving to my dish washer I also grabbed a knife and a plate and made my breakfast.

When I was finished eating I got my shoes on and my bag then went through the door, I actually really enjoyed walking to school, I loved watching nature wake up, looking at the pinkish blue sky and listening to the birds sing their song while I listened to my songs. There is one tragic thing I forgot to mention the other reason I won't tell Dinah I get harrased by Chloe is because Dinah likes Chloe which honestly sucks, even though me and Dinah are partially closer together as friends more than anyone else in our group I still feel us breaking apart slowly but surely because of Chloe.
