Growing Up

Growing up is so scary,

I want it to stop,

I'm not ready for the world,

And the world is not ready for me.

Growing up is going by fast,

Too fast for me to handle,

I wish I could stop growing up,

No, I need to stop growing up.

Growing up I make mistakes,

Some mistakes I can fix,

And some mistakes that could be fixed,

Also some mistakes that can't be fixed.

Growing up is a life lesson,

A lesson that teaches responsibility,

A lesson that teaches courage,

A lesson that teaches you how to make it in this world.

Growing up only comes once in your life,

You only have one time to experience it,

Only one time to live it,

And only one time to get it right.
