"Jungkook, please." I panted. "I can't take it anymore."
"One more." Jungkook told me before launching a fist surrounded by a large boxing glove at me.
Despite being exhausted, I quickly dodged it before sending my own clothed fists at his frame. I managed to hit him square in the jaw before launching another fist into his lower abdomen.
Instead of groaning and falling to the ground like any other men would do, he grinned widely at me. "Perfect!" He breathed before slipping his gloves off to grab a towel.
"You've improved a lot since we started out training last week. It's disgusting how talented you are for everything." His grin didn't falter as he threw me a clean towel as well.
I rolled my eyes before wiping the sweat of my forehead. "Without a good tutor I wouldn't be as good, so it basically means you're doing a great job." I told him with a small smile.
He was about to say something again but was interrupted as Daneul burst into the gym, slightly flustered. "Here you are!" He panted.
We both greeted him with a small nod of the head, allowing him to continue. "I just wanted to check if you have any requests for dinner tonight and tomorrow? There's another harsh blizzard coming so we want to try to get all groceries in before that." He breathed.
I turned to look at Jungkook to answer, but he only shrugged. "I don't really care. You never ask what we want to eat, so why now?" He teased Daneul who rolled his eyes at him in return.
"It's Christmas eve tonight Jungkook! It's all about food, I can't just let the kitchen cook something randomly on this special time of the year." Daneul protested.
"Christmas is dead, old man." Jungkook groaned. "It has always been in this house. Why would it be different this year?"
Daneul gulped as his eyes darted to me. "Well, we have a guest this year. Any requests?"
I swallowed harshly myself as two pair of eyes stared at me curiously. "Well, I've always wanted to try Turkey?" I started softly. "Oh! And I'd love some good, chocolate dessert! Like a mousse cake, some good chocolate ice-cream, or profiteroles coated with chocolate-sauce?" I asked him excited.
"Perfect, thank you miss." Daneul spoke before bowing deeply and exiting the room again.
Jungkook groaned as the door fell closed behind him. "Seriously, Gabrielle? Are you getting hyped up for Christmas now?" He snorted as we walked out of the sweaty room as well.
"I love Christmas." I breathed as we made our way upstairs for a shower.
Jungkook's head turned towards me with a snap as he narrowed his eyes at me. "What? Why?!" He hissed in disbelief.
"It was the only day I felt a bit happier during my youth, because my family would leave the house then." I shrugged. "Sometimes I got better food, and they wouldn't be able to beat - I mean - hurt me." I quickly covered, but Jungkook cocked his head slightly in suspicion.
"Fair enough." He settled on, his gaze still not leaving my face as I finally reached my room.
"I'll see you at dinner, then?" I asked him while I wiggled my eyebrows.
"Yeah, sure?" Jungkook grumbled, scrunching his nose.
"Dress up nicely!" I shouted after him. "It's Christmas after all!" I giggled before shutting the door, preventing his curses of protest reaching my ears.

I spun in front of the mirror, content with my reflection.
I had put my hair up in a slightly messy bun, letting some loose curls fall down in front of my face. I had put on one of the prettiest - and in my mind most Christmassy - dress I had gotten from Krystal's dads. It was made of a velvet fabric in a deep red colour. It had a simple A-shape with long sleeves and a turtle neck, still offering the warmth needed during these cold days. I had opted to wear some black tights and put on a pair of classic black heels, just because I felt like it.
