I was sitting in my medicine class trying to pay attention to what the lecturer was saying about arterial blood gas analysis but my mind just kept wandering and thinking about him.There he was sitting with his friends two rows below my seat.We were in different colleges but we had taken an extra class of medicine in which we were sitting right now.These were the only times when I would get to see him.Because that's all that I could do- admire him from afar...
Because he is way out of my league.He is gorgeous, smart and intelligent.Well I am intelligent too but I am just an ordinary chubby girl a little on the heavier side so I am a bit insecure.He is a perfect guy and I am just a regular girl.His name is Abhay Raichand.He doesn't know my name.May be he doesn't even know that I exist!...Sad isn't it...I know!
A few months later.......
It is the last day of our medicine classes.Days went by so quickly!..I cannot believe today is the last day I would be seeing him! I m pretty sure he still doesn't know that I exist....But I have learnt not to dwell on that fact anymore. I have stopped day dreaming about us as a couple and started studying for my final exams which are in a couple months.I just wish though that some day we meet again and he would notice me then....
Three years later......
As I check my emails a big grin forms on my face.I have received an appointment letter from the New York City Hospital!!!
I scream with happiness and do a little happy dance in my bedroom.I have been appointed as a Neuro surgeon and am due to join in a month's time! I am so happy!!!
