"Just one game. Please?" Bucky pleads for the sixth time in ten minutes.
"No!" I exclaim at him. "I told you, I don't want to," I cross my arms over my chest triumphantly. I'm certain I've won him this time. He groans.
"Ugh. Fine." He falls back on the couch, exasperated.
"Thank you," I reply, sitting next to him and tucking my legs under myself. I lean my head on his shoulder and feel a pang of guilt somewhere within me. Looking up at him, I take a breath.
"One game."

On the way there, he tries to explain to me how tennis works while he's driving. With terms from underspin to lob to deuce to footfault, it's needless to say that I'm thoroughly confused.
"Remind me, why did I agree to this?" I ask, looking out the window. I feel him take my hand.
"Because you love me." He answers smoothly, making me smile.
We get to the rec center and Bucky leads me to the tennis courts where we receive our racquets and the ball and find out who we're playing against.
