A loud bell signaled it was time for the outdoor lunch break. After 5 hours of agony, a break sounded like heaven. It was the first week of school, people were still fixing the sleeping schedules that they screwed up over the Summer.

All the tenth graders rushed right out of their classrooms, filling up the corridor. Within seconds, the hallways changed from a quiet and empty area, to a sea of yelling and pushing 16 year olds.

Being the petite girl that she was, Taeyeon got pushed around a lot in the crowds of people trying to get outside. But finally she made her way outside, taking a deep breathe in and out.

She smiled at the baby blue sky and nodded her head. Still smiling she started to walk toward the wooden bench at the side of the soccer field, her smile faded away when she saw Tiffany crying.

Tiffany wasn't Taeyeon's best friend, she wasn't even a good friend. They were just simply acquaintances. They had a few classes together and greeted eachother in the hallway. Taeyeon could admit to herself that she always admired the beauty Tiffany carried, but Taeyeon didn't think about Tiffany much.

Same with Tiffany too, she always thought Taeyeon was cute and adorable, but she never really thought much about it.

Regardless of what their relationship with eachother was, Taeyeon wanted to know why Tiffany was crying. She felt as though her heart would ache if she didn't know.

Taeyeon reached the old bench and just stood there infront of the sobbing girl. Tiffany was burying her face in both her hands and letting out small muffled whimpers from time to time. Taeyeon bent her knees and ducked her head lower, trying to take a look at Tiffany's face. Her heart felt so hurt when she saw Tiffany shivering like that.

Taeyeon leaned in closer, "Are you.. okay?"

Tiffany took her face out of her hands. Makeup stains were all over the latter's face. Still sobbing, she tried to reply to Taeyeon, "I-I.." She couldn't even finish her sentence before she started bursting out into more tears.

Seeing this, Taeyeon quickly sat down, not hesitant to put her arm around Tiffany to comfort her. Normally, doing this to a person you barely talk to would be kind of awkward, but Taeyeon didn't feel awkward nor out of place.

"Tell me what happened." Taeyeon tightened her grip on the younger girl's shoulder. Tiffany looked up at her. "Why do you.. care?" Tiffany was curious to why Taeyeon was comforting her when they barely knew eachother. "Ehh.. That doesn't matter right now. Now, tell me why you are crying, Tiffany.."

"T-today I confessed to the g-guy that I liked and.. a-and he rejected me.." Tiffany explained to Taeyeon, sobbing in between her words. 'Rejected? What the hell? Why would somebody reject someone as beautiful as her? Who in the right mind..?'

"H-he said that I wasn't his type and h-he said that he likes pretty girls." She frowned and looked at her kicking feet. "I guess I'm really ugly..." She sniffed her nose.

"Tiffany." Taeyeon started, "If it makes you feel any better... I think you're beautiful." Tiffany looked up at Taeyeon's sincere eyes. She smiled slightly. "Beautiful?" Tears still rolled down her cheek. Taeyeon used her thumb to wipe away the black dyed tear. "Don't cry anymore. You're too beautiful to cry."

Tiffany leaned closer into Taeyeon and put her arms around her waist, as Taeyeon's arm is still wrapped around Tiffany's shoulder. "Look. This is one guy out of the whole world that rejected you. He has bad taste, that's all. If he doesn't want you, it's his lost."

Taeyeon looked at the sky, and Tiffany looked at Taeyeon with admiration in her eyes. "Thanks, Taeyeon. You're really nice, how come we weren't friends before?" Taeyeon now looked at Tiffany.

"Heh.. I guess I was just shy. To be honest.. I've admired you from afar for a long time. I've always thought you were really, really pretty." Tiffany leaned closer to the brown-haired girl. "Do you like me, Tae?"

The taller girl had a smirk plastered on her face. Taeyeon playfully scoffed. "You like me. Don't you?" Fany rephrased her statement from before. The latter beside her narrowed her eyes and smiled slightly. "What makes you think that...?" Taeyeon's stare returned to the green grass.

Tiffany moved slightly further from the girl beside her, but Taeyeon still had her arm around her. "Psh.. Fine, don't tell me. Like I care.." Tiffany looked across the field at the boy playing football with a group of his arrogant friends. 'I can't believe I thought I liked you. Ew. Just, ugh. You stupid .' Tiffany thought in her head with a slight look at disgust on her face.

Her thoughts were suddenly interrupted when Tiffany found a warm pair of lips on hers. She knew exactly who it was.

"Does that answer your question?" Taeyeon said slyly as she pulled away from the kiss, pulling Tiffany close to her again.

Tiffany nodded her head, blushing. "Well..?" Fany looked back at the girl who just kissed her.

"Hmm?" Taeyeon leaned in closer to Fany's face, "Do you... like me.. back?"

Tiffany eye smiled and pulled Taeyeon in for another sweet kiss. "Doesthat answer your question?"

Taeyeon and Tiffany smiled at eachother.

The school bell rang again, it was the end of Lunch Break.

It took just thirty minutes, for two girls who barely talked to eachother, to become one.
