Rosella closed her eyes and drew a final breath. The staircase in front of her was part of a beginning... one she wasn't sure she was ready for. This journey cost so much already, and the next seven months promised to only take more from her busy, crazy life. Nervousness coursed throughout her body while she considered how the cameras behind her were interpreting this very moment. They loved vulnerability, as it allowed for interpretations and obsessions for the masses.

Come on. I don't want to screw this up. It will be fine. I'll meet him, he'll meet me. This is just another... adventure. I've managed so far. I know I can continue. Just don't say anything really stupid.

Screw it. Let's do this.

With these final thoughts, Rosella opened her eyes, let out her breath, and placed her foot on the bottom stair. She knew the end of this staircase she had led herself to would end, and she would meet Him.
